I think it’s going to be a fist fight tonight.

The Warriors have a veteran core and history of winning big games and are going to come ready to hit us in the mouth and try to blow us out early. Their defensive scheme should be hard (dirty) and it will get physical.

On the other side, the Rockets will be hyped up to win this game, possibly to the detriment of the team. Young, excited players may pinball around and we may see some sloppy ball movement, bad shots and overshooting their defensive assignments. However, I think they will settle down after a few minutes. I hope Ime prepares for this and keeps the ball in FVV’s hands, because he’s a smooth criminal.

This game is going to come down to composure and defensive intensity. If the Rockets can play their game like they did in game six and run the Warriors out of gas, we should win. If we can’t keep our heads on, that give the Warriors the advantage, because part of their defensive attack is getting into people’s heads with bullying and dirty plays.

As long as Alpy and company can keep their mouths shut, not b**** to the refs and stick to their game plan, I feel pretty good about this game.

Last game GPII pushed someone out of bounds (having trouble remembering who exactly) pretty violently under the basket and then grabbed his thumb like it was injured.

I remember it because I was wondering for half a second if the push and thumb grab were signaling "payback" for the phantom attacks on Steph's thumb that the GSW announcers were selling, a notion I quickly discounted.

I dont remember him playing much after that.

I know he had a damaged ligiment in his thumb last month. Not even sure it was the same thumb, but Im wondering if he re-injured that.

I dont like this. He destroyed us earlier in the year in a game where Curry & Draymond were out and had a couple of other good showings against us as well.

Guys who need to watch out with Brothers: Brooks, Tari, Ime. I fear Curry is going to get a favorable whistle and 3 seconds will be called, but the only definite is Brothers is quick with technicals. Cannot get into some bullshit.

X-factor tonight / keys to the game:
    - A Jalen Green who at least hits a couple of shots, an Amen who takes it seriously again and a Jabari who doesn’t dribble too much.
    - Brooks not getting into foul trouble and just shoot his threes and punish smaller players in the post.
    - We need to play our game and run, come out the game hot to get the crowd involved.

Kerr has no choice. Staying the course is not an option and this is the biggest change he can make.
