Can’t stand Draymond, but can’t hate on him for this.

Amen is far from the 1st Option.

    Trade for LaMelo Ball

Udoka eventually adjusted to defending Buddy Hield in the 2nd half but he should've done it way sooner...the damage was already done. The end of the 1st quarter after he drilled that 3 from the logo at the buzzer should've woken up the whole team . You can tell he was on a heater early. Dillon was real lazy guarding him and let him get off clean looks. The lack of focus was real disappointing.

I was the biggest cheerleader for Amen Thompson in the NBA draft and before the Draft - I have defended Thompson quite a bit.

I never have doubted that Thompson can be a star level player and have said he would be an elite defender before he was drafted - my concern for Amen remains the same, in that I don't know that his shooting is good enough to lead an offense and that remains - he can be a star, he can be someone that gets 20 a night and make a huge impact but I don't know that you can run an offense through him without a lot of work. So - either way the Rockets are going to need a perimeter hub on offense.

All true. And the lack of movement on offense and general stupidity on offense came with no adjustments. The team struggled to score 40 in the first half.

Well we played to our strengths, which is size, athleticism, defense/fast-breaks. Kerr played zone in the first half which we couldn't break, kinda like how they couldn't play against our zone in the 2nd half of game 6. We got it down to -3, if we would of taken the lead, we would of won. Same as the GSW in game 6 when FVV hit that 4 point play. It came down to executing few plays. Didn't help that Hield had the night of his life. But it is what it is, I think we're in good shape for the future. Gotta make couple of moves and thats it. Jalen Green is not it, you can blame it on Udoka which is fine, but he's not it for our style. I'm honestly happy that we got our identity and system, this is the new era of the NBA. Now its all about the pieces.

I’m watching the 4th quarter and just heard SVG say “This is about as quiet an arena for a game 7, really since midway through the 2nd quarter. This has not been a tough place for GS to play.”

Absolutely correct. Same principal as don’t bounce a pass low to a big man at the rim as we did last night.

I know FVV can have his moments as he did in the last 3 games. But,no way I’m spending $44:5 mil to have a guy thats
SLOWS the game to a crawl when I have team of talented young guys who are built to run. Extend Adams but FVV …nope…not for that kind of money.

I saw some highlights of Cam Whitmore. He might have been a spark in moments of this series.

I tend to agree with you on most of what you say here. I would just like to add that in the NBA every season is different. Just because the Rockets took a big step to the No. 2 spot in the West this season doesn't mean that they will continue to show progress next season without making significant changes on the offensive side. And no - that doesn't mean they should go out and trade picks and players for a 37 year KD or a ball-dominant Giannis because those players may be enough to get them out of the first round but ten they'll have to contend with the likes of Minnesota, OKC, Denver. Plus you have to watch out for SA. The key will be for Stone to not panic but to make trades that yield great value and address this team's shortcomings.

Attitude, plays for himself and is not a good defender. Not a player for Udoka. He's probably gone this summer as well. Has the talent tho, no-one can deny that.

I prefer Amen and the 4 or 5 draft picks over Ball.

I don't think the talent difference warrants it...

You were confused thinking I was talking about Jalen's performance in game 1. I said "he only performed well in 1 game"", you responded with "Game 2." lmao. Yeah Jalen played terribly and I want him off the team.

Green shriveled up and disappeared over the course of this series. It was bizarre to see. He even blew it at the line. During the season he hit 81% of his free throws. During this series, with everything on the line? Rounding up over the last 5 games he was making 65%. Green should have been relentlessly attacking the basket and drawing fouls, in my opinion, whether he was making them or not. That's assuming the fouls would have been called. From behind the arc? Over the same 5 games he managed 25% of his treys.

Green was awful. Apparently, Jalen psyched himself out. Whatever was going on with the guy, he was pretty useless when we needed him the most. We have Green signed for $106 million over the next three seasons. Right now, that contract looks awful. It'll cost us, but I hope we move him.

Hahaha, I came here wondering if he could keep his smug mug away from our arena, but he was there, eh?

My sad shoutout to @BMoney for calling this one. I had the same fears and stayed away from watching this one. (I was mostly on a flight anyway.)
