Ime made the wrong choice which is stop guarding Curry and guard Hield. I was right and we know this cuz we lost the game.

Maybe it Hield would indeed go off for 60 if you left him alone but we know the outcome of guarding him which is we lost. So the better option with hindsight keep guarding Curry and maybe we win.

Ime is just a bad tactical coach he makes wrong decisions on the court constantly. Shades of Mark Jackson we might have to replace him for a "Kerr" down the road.

We lost because Hield had 33 points. He averages 11. That's why we lost. Curry was also again, bricking wide open shots in the first quarter. We have to adjust to the game that is in front of us. Shut down Hield, crush his confidence, THEN go back to your defense. Don't let him burn you for a quarter, by then the damage is done.

It's like going in a boxing match taking haymaker after haymaker then finally in the 9th round you come out guarding your face but then take a body shot to the liver.

I think we did as well as we could with the personnel that we have. Getting to game 7 is honestly a really good outcome and it's shown us our roster is still lacking to have a proper run deep into playoffs. I feel like we are 1-2 players away with Amen as our cornerstone.

I fully expect Amen to improve because he just has that dawg in him, we build the team around Amen and we are going to never look back. How do we complement Amen with the right supporting cast is the question.

yeah damage is done so we shouldnt have started guarding Hield cuz knowing his average of 11 he wouldnt get hot in the second half. Just play the percentages and play the averages.

OTH Curry had 0 pts knowing his average and being the literal goat shooter you know he will go off in the 2nd half. Who killed us in the 2nd half Curry or Hield? lol We should have continued the drag net on Curry and just let Hield go off if he could. Abandoning the plan half way we got burned first by Hield and then by Curry is that better? No cuz we lost.

It was the wrong move by Ime which is par for the course. Jalen and Ime failed us this series.

 

Plus the 94 Rockets logo also threw me off, like really.
