OK, I guess I will set my alarm for 3:30AM and watch the live score for the 2nd half of the game, since I can't watch it live in Ireland, and just need to feel some excitement other than seeing the final score in the morning when I wake up. This time difference sucks.

 

Going to need Eric Gordon to cancel Klay out.

This is getting out of hand. First let me say I'm not a fan of these shows...and I certainly don't live and die with what they say. That being said, when something is a lie, and is repeated over and over again, it's just frustrating.

So many outlets today squeezing in their argument with "With all the trash the Rockets have talked, it's a must win!"

Like seriously...where in the world is this coming from. The only thing that can be considered trash talking, which I don't even think it is, is what Capela said... - ONE TIME -. I guarentee if someone on even one of those shows just said "Can you name another time there was trash talking outside of Capela's comments?", there would be a long silence followed by "I can't remember it exactly..but it was said."

Anyone else struggling to get through the day? I swear everytime I look at the clock it's exactly one minute later than the previous glance....ughhhhh

 

Warriors are like the best 3rd period team in the history of the game, or so they said yesterday during the Cavs broadcast. We have to come out stronger in the 3rd. Ending quarters will be key as well. We tend to let teams go on 10-0 runs and then we respond...we can't let them have any double digit unanswered runs.

Still think the Mavs tweet was the greatest social media response to any event ever, closely followed by Mitch McConnel's response to "Cocaine Mitch" accusations from Don Blankenship.

 

One thing I don't understand from the national media is that they keep saying that Harden/CP3 have all the pressure on them to win this series, but then they follow that by saying the Warriors will win easily...That's not how pressure works. If the Warriors truly are one of the greatest dynasties ever, if they have 4 hall of famers, and 2 MVPs, then why does it matter what CP3 and Harden do? Harden can average 35 points, and CP3 can average 18/10, and Houston could still lose in 5 games.

I'm picking Rockets in 7, but if they were to lose, it's not going to be if James Harden plays bad or good. It will come down to our perimeter defense and 3-point shooting.

 

When there's a really big game like this one, the closer it gets to the game the more i feel some sort of nervous in my stomach...which i still find kinda strange cause i'm a pretty cool person ("cool" as cold, not even sure it's used in english now lol) and that doesn't happen to me in other situations, but man when there's a game like this...i just find myself pretty emotional.

 

Yeah, media just can't be good. Rockets were not going to work for them at the start of the season, Paul was going to regret signing here bla bla...now if we don't beat the best team ever (as for their words too) in the conference finals we're a failure...ok

 

I live in LA so by the time I leave the office around 4:30p and travel the 20 miles to my house, it'll be almost 6pm. One of the few times where I don't mind the traffic.

 

Is it tip off yet? The Rockets have more than a chance. Get ready for an epic series!

 

I'm the same. I don't have any feelings until about an hour or two before tip off...but the 5 days between games and the fact that WE have been waiting for this matchup all season (nobody else did, they all thought we'd fail and are full of BS when they say they've anticipated this since October) has made the wait particularly excruciating.
