JVG:...Yao is the man YE wide, WTH you guys keep passing to that black guy in front of him is beyond me. I mean Yao is Chinese, how do you make that mistake?

It is so easy to beat that type of defense......you quickly flash someone to the high post while Yao seals the guy fronting him off and gets an easy entry pass for a dunk.....or if the guy behind Yao stays, you have a wide open 3 pt shot in the corner....but YOU HAVE to flash to the FT line.

it is so sad, the Blazers are having a good game against the JAZZ and they might win. Our win tonight could have made a difference.

Are you serious preparing role players? JVG will not play more than 9 players in the playoffs and he had all season to prepare his role players. Maybe next year.

since we have no chance at HCA, let's rest Tmac and Yao and only play them in the last couple of games to warm them up for the 1st round.

We have match up problem with teams like the Suns and Warriors. As good as TMac is, but our biggest strength is Yao's inside present, both offensively and defensively. The speed of those teams will reduce Yao's impact to minimum, and we are not good enough without Yao.

Of course, we can beat those teams, but not when those teams play their game for 48 minutes. Tonight the Warriors did that for ~3 qtrs, we would be lost by 20 if not for Head and Alston's shooting.

The season is over. JVG is outplayed by another coach. There is no way we play so bad. The only reason I can think of is that he wants the players to solve the problem themselves and be independent. I hope I am wrong.
Anyway, he is a good coach but not good enough for champion. Goodby, this season. Hopefully we can have a better coach next year.

looks like the offense was just fine tonight.
i mean, i'd kill to have mcgrady have the offensive efficiency that luther did tonight.
