    I'm beginning to suspect this is tanking more and more.

    - JVG isn't yelling at players or calling timeouts
    - Vspan is playing...and was playing with a JLIII - Vspan backcourt
    - T-mac hasn't even played that much

    unless they get a superstar like kobe/bron/wade, trading tmac would push back this team.

    Um.

    I'm just a random 16 year old guy...but...

    -Play more high pick and rolls with Yao, force Yao's men to come with him, uncrowding the key. Yao has a shooting touch that extends out to 3pt range, you need to take advantedge of that.
    -Space the paint. Play high/low. Switch it up. Get Yao to go high, Chuck Hayes/JHo to go low. Get Kirk/Luther doing backdoor cuts.
    -Give Yao's defenders different looks then the standard Yao back to the basket. Like I said before, have him come high. Get him to the side. Free throw line. Hell, even perimeter, just to see if Yao's men still respect him there. You have to change it up.

    Of course, we can confirm it's tanking for sure if JVG subs Luther off right now. :)

    why can't JVG understand yao CANNOT dominate teams that play this way? either take him out or devise him to get away from the basket and let him shoot jumpers. it's pointless putting him in there if he's not gonna touch the ball.

    The only thing Yao could do is be REALLY aggressive on the offensive rebounds.

    That means it is nearly impossible to overtake Utah, so we might as well play more bench the rest of the season so the starters have more rest and the bench has more experience.

    I feel the exact same way. They are good players, I can't deny that, but I just don't like them. It's that simple. I obviously had my valid reasons when I made my statement last week.
