Reducing so drastically? I mean he has only played like 6 minutes in the entire first half. That goes way beyond 'reducing' I reckon.

Yes, the fronting is such a problem that we are on pace for 104 points from our role players...panic!

 

not only that but its looking ridiculously easy for golden state to deny yao the ball.

 

how about you use some logic with your brain? u don't bench your superstar cuz he is struggling. Tmac missed 3 shots in 6 mins of playing time, 2 rebs, 3 assists, that is why he is benched? You ever seen Bron, Wade, Kobe get benched because they are struggling with their shots?

 

That charge he drew at the end of the 2Q is indicative of what he can do defensively. Since coming in, I don't think that any player abused him on the defensive end in contrast to our other guards bar Snyder.

Use this game to prove your doubters wrong Vspan!

 

Good training for Yao. This is what Yao need to improve his stamina.

again benching tmac for a few mins is typical b/c u want that player to get his mind straight. but this benching could extend to a whole game. this is going beyond him shooting bad. b/c he has played defense, passed, rebounded...

something is going on.

 

billy plays good defense, yao is struggling to get the ball, Tmac is on the bench,lets see what is going to happen in the 2nd half.

 

so that's what rafer should do: slow down the game

 

This what JVG should have done throughout the season, get the bench players some minutes.

 

Most teams do not front Yao this agressively. They are basically triple teaming him. Phoenix is the only other team that I have noticed that is this agressive.

I hope we can get some defensive 3 sec. calls next half.

 

if JVG is gonna play V-span, let him play point. screw having RAfer run the team. Span isn't a 2 guard.

maybe it's just a bad matchup for t-mac playing at two-guard against gsw, ie they're too quick.
