T-Mac looks fine on the bench with a smile on his face. He was not holding his back when he was walkin' to the locker room. JVG prepares a big impact in the 2nd half:D

he's benched. if u look at his expression, he's not hurt. so the only conclusion is he's being benched.

but can he be benched the whole game? wow, ive never seen that in my life benching a star player for a whole game. maybe a few mins to get his mind straight but this is getting crazy. mac and jvg must be at odds.

Jeff could just be reducing Tracey's minutes with the playoffs upcoming.

Half time rebounding stats: Rockets 22 (Yao has 7) to Warriors 21 .

Yeah, bad timing JVG. Let's hold the starters out when we're blowing Philly to BITS, but now he realizes he needs to put in the bench in a game that NEEDS to be won for homecourt.

Puzzling. Doesn't trust Vspan in 50 point leads, but does in 5 point deficits.

Their whole damn team is determined to not allow Yao gets the ball, not just Harrington.

Don't rule that out and I'm not saying that just because of this game. The pressure in the Utah series will be more than Tracy's ever faced in his career.

V-Span with some good minutes so far...but his one shot was a pretty bad one (off balance falling away). Just enough to keep the "Play V-Span!" threads going... :D

Pryuen, you have to really see the pace they are playing at. Yao is almost doing 2x the amount of running than usual.

obviously Yao is getting double teamed, so why not just put out a 3pt bomber unit with:

Alston,VSpan, Head, Novak and Yao out there.

    Just let it Rain

Why is the fronting all of a sudden an isssue now. Every team has smaller, quicker players that defend Yao. Wasn't an issue before.

I don't understand Tmac's benching, but heck, Bill is playing. :D This game give me so many surprises.

Yao has been totally ineffective on the offensive end. Warriors have totally taken him out of the game so far...

Looks like Alston has put his missed 3 vs. Utah behind him (now if only some on the board could do that)

We gotta slow down Baron Davis....

Game is totally within our reach.

yea yao can't be effective v. these 2 teams consistently (suns, warriors).

earlier in the season, warriors had no harrington or jackson to be able to play this lineup. now they do.

And that's why we're going to beat the Jazz. I can't wait to see monster Tracy in the playoffs again! :)

IMHO to beat this zone Howard should start the 2nd half and play the high post, where he flashes and either dumps it to Yao or takes the open 15 footer.

Yao could also go to the high post and have cutters and screeners on the baseline for layups.

But we really need a play B, this is what teams will do to the Rockets in the playoffs.

As for V-Span he looked very good out there, when was the last time one of our guards took a charge at the 3pt line?

    NEVER !

    Go SPAN !!!

I doubt we see Billy in the 2nd half, unless Tmac sits the rest out.

Kudos to JVG for sending a message to Tracy......if you aren't going to bring it, you sit. I am glad he is finally taking a stand against Tmac's laziness.
