ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 4/30/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 5)

Jabari took some bad shots which lead to the warriors comeback in the 4th and having the starters come back in. His last shot which was a missed 3 with 20 seconds left on the shot clock was especially a poor decision and the point where the starters came back in. It looked like he started stat padding instead of letting the offense come to him. It was the right call to bench him early today.

One thing I don't like... Curry on the bench evaluating like, "I'm let them have their moment"

Great win soured by Jabari and Tari not being able to close it out with the scrubs.

 

Part of the problem was trying to milk the clock though. Just play aggressive and play your normal offense. This isn’t football where a good run game can salt it away. You have to keep playing.

 

Glad to fight another day. Friday will be a dog fight. Zone defense looked great tonight.

 

Alpi was standing up for his teammate, Brooks, then he got headbutted and shoved. You want him to cower in fear instead?

 

If the Rockets employ the same defensive strategy against Curry as they did in game 4 in San Francisco, the other Warriors will have to beat the Rockets. Podziemski was the X-factor in game 4, can he do it again?

Great Win! I see it as a positive that there was a letdown in the 4th qtr. You don't want a young team to have a super-easy blowout, they get too high on themselves. Now I hope now we are going to the Bay Area with just the right amount of fear.

If the Warriors lose the series: “Yet another epic playoff collapse by this supposed dynasty!”

 

all of the top seeds i.e. OKC, Boston, Cavs have blown out their opponents in these playoffs but for some reason you simpletons think it’s a a bad thing lmao
