The leashes on Fred and Jalen better be a lot shorter than in game 1. If the Rockets lose, they must lose pulling out all the stops and throw pecking order out the window.

Gotta run the ball more to avoid the best defense in the NBA whenever possible. They also must start each half-court possession with urgency to get more time for plays to develop and eliminate the shot clock becoming a factor. This isn't just on Fred, it's on everybody.

I expect Holiday to join the rotation and take some minutes from both Fred and Jalen. He must be a part of the rotation the rest of the series.

We need the Terror Twins to wreak more havoc on defense and continue helping Steven Adams on the offensive glass.

I'm gonna scream if the starters finish the game unless they are playing well.

We should remember that while Game 1 revealed a lot, it's still just one game in the series. There is much more evaluation to come.

 

Don’t turn the ball over. Score points efficiently (free throws). Defend.


Really not rocket science. Throw game 1 in the bin and get on with playing Rockets basketball again.

 

Tari better play well. Wide open from three and can’t buy a basket. He’s the main one wanting to taunt the Warriors then he needs to step up.

 

What must we do to defeat the Worriers? The answer:

 

Big game. We are winning one in Golden State so this game is the difference between a 2-2 series and a 3-1 series. Lose this and the series is over. Agree with others that FVV and Jalen need to have the shortest of leashes. FVV was an absolute disaster (as was Jalen and Amen was as well up until the 4th). If the Terrible Twins show up again glue them to the bench and have Amen/Holiday take over ball handling duties. It's time for everyone, including Ime, to grow up.

So Ime was considering putting in Aaron and did nothing. Instead, we got Fred minutes, minutes that seemed endless. Color me unhappy, Coach. Maybe Aaron isn’t an answer, but your job is to find the answers and put the answers on the court. If we lose tomorrow? We won’t be between a rock and a hard place. I've got more bad news for you: The process repeats and there are 3 days between games 2 & 3. After tommorrow, we wait until Saturday.
