ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 4/20/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 1)

Ive been MIA this season BUT.....Ill be here for the playoffs.

 

Watching that Pistons game, the rookies had a rough one and got some easy fouls called agains them so we have to be prepared for a lack of respect from the refs. I also expect Sengun and Jalen not to be on their games, but hope they prove me wrong. One thing I really nope not to see: Sengun with his hands up in the air complaining about fouls, if he doesn’t kick that habit then he’s going to have it very tough.

 

NBA doing NBA things. They didn’t need to assign Ben Taylor to this game.

Oh boy. The fix of in for game 1. I guess after last night Lakers stinker, league does not want any new "surprises".

 

Man I’m nervous. I do believe we are the better team, but youth can throw a wrench into things.

If that happens to us I'm pretty sure Ime gonna make sure our whole team walks home.

That said, our game could very well turn out like the Pistons game where they were up and looked good until the 4th quarter melt down because of no go-to guy. Cade was supposed to be that guy but he just disappeared in the 4th.

But.. then again I'm taking Ime over JBB anytime, anywhere.

 

The ****ing NBA officiating is always an issue. They insert themselves into, and subsequently ruin, so many games that everyone knows that it's coming, it's just a question of when.

 

Rockets will win, if they keep Butler off the line and make others besides Curry beat them.

Udoka may need to set the tone early with a T, if the refs get out of hand.

We've all waited a long time for a playoff win. The wait is over. LFG!
