Sucks they lost but I kinda feel like they needed the sting of defeat to trigger their edge. They play best when they get chippy and I just didn't see the passion tonight. I'm hoping Game 2 will see them make the corrections they need on Curry and lock in on the offensive end.

I think it depends, if he's having games like this the rest of this series that would definitely be a giant red flag for me.

But again, we'll see. I'm not going to be too hard for a guy having a bad playoff game, especially his first one, it happens. Over a 7 game series even Lebron and Jordan and whoever you name has a bad game in a playoff series or two.

I think one thing Shaq has said that is right is great players usually never have multiple bad games in a row. So we'll see how he responds Wednesday in what is definitely a must win situation.

It's the playoffs my man, you're not getting many easy shots with the number 1 defence for the past 2 months. Jalen couldn't break down his man 1 on 1 and tried to attack the rim when it was clogged. GSW were clearly packing the paint, he couldn't get any separation so he had no options but to do hail mary layups in a clogged lane. Unforunately the man can't create unless he's on a streak or on fast breaks. He's a great guy, but he is clearly not a number 1 OR 2

He doesnt need to expand his game he needs to be better at what he can currently do. Shooting blanks from wide open 3s and not being able to finish on drives is unacceptable.

It is a 7 game series. They may not win, but they must show “something.” If they don’t, they may have to get Durant I’m afraid.

My guess is that this performance was an outlier and neither Jalen nor Fred are likely to play as poorly again. They aren't this bad. Even with the garbage performance that they both gave, and despite all of the missed free throws, the miracle shots, the questionable calls, and all of the other crap they were still somehow in the game late. Hopefully they learn from it and steal one later. This really should have been a blowout the way they played tonight.

In a game where Jalen and Fred were comitting domestic abuse against the rim, how does AlP only get 4 shots in the 3rd quarter and 1 shot in the 4th?

Even he flops the rest of the series as a 23 yr old he is far from his prime. For comparison Hartenstein at age 23 wasnt getting any play on the court and getting cut from teams left and right and then at age 26 he was being fought over by Knicks and OKC.

FVV and DB are vets, if they suck they suck it is who they are. But Sengun and co havent even reached their prime I wont panic and let this series esp their first one define their entire NBA career.

If indeed Jalen is only this good then tbh he is just fairly paid. We still have Sengun and Amen and the rest to look forward to. But FVV should be changed IMO. Ime has an obsession with him and the dude is clearly cooked.

35 ppg average as a player who is averaging 21 on the season?

    I guess why not.

The Warriors are a defensive team now with Butler in.........I doubt anyone is averaging that much.....it is going to be a defensive series/slugfest with few blowouts.....here and there.

no one finishes at rim vs warriors, because they foul and nothing is called… that’s why a floater is important… I would of loved if he hit them open 3s but that’s not where he eats - look at the layups warriors players get and look at Amen and JG space on layups …

Jalen is shooting 36% from 3 so yeah that open 3 is where he should be eating. We all know Amen cant shoot 3s, apart from DB he should be the 2nd shooter and it should be automatic if he is open from 3. That should be the basic requirement on a team with Alpi and Amen if Jalen cant do it we should find someone who can.

    Ime would never do this...

    Start

    Amen
    Brooks
    Jabari
    Sengun
    Adams

Make Curry have to guard big or physical. Chasing after fvv and switching onto jalen is rest....
