Well said. I don’t love Holiday, but with as poorly as this team — and Fred in particular shot — he should’ve gotten some run.

I hope Adam’s is rested up - he’s a difference maker this series. Amen’s adjustment will be the key going forward - I expect him to have a ton of pride on defense, and he missed some opportunities on offense that he will convert.

I really liked Jalen’s energy early — he did some great things rebounding in space, and the beautiful pass on Sengun’s dunk in the first 5 minutes. It was just downhill from there.

Sadly we have to remember that no one expected us to do anything this year. We have to properly manage our expectations. However I see why everyone's upset because we are losing to a team that pretty much beat the hell out of us over the past decade in the playoffs. And it seems that we are beating ourselves due to poor shooting, lack of understanding to get into sets faster, not understanding that the refs are not calling fouls going to the hole, and questionable coaching decisions.

I think GSW knew he would choke. They left him wide open all night. With all the criticism Amen got, somewhat justifiable, he made the right pass every time and put it right on the money.

The future isn't really there for them until Steph retires IMO.

I mean it is not everyone's cup of tea but that is the direction they are taking.

This mortgage of the future is just relative because of the NBA rewarding bad teams.

If they decide to rebuild, they would need more time for sure.

This Nico Harrison trade .....can happen anytime to the Worriers as well.

FVV wants to cede offense to Jalen Green.

When Green goes completely MIA like today is when FVV starts forcing things, and he is not a primary perimeter scorer. Team flat out isn't good enough offensively without Green giving us something

I would have played Cam Whitmore in the place of Jalen Green. Jalen Green played like he has black fingernails tonight.

    6-29 from deep: 21%

    11-20 from the line: 55%

this is the worst shooting team I’ve ever seen in my life

the rim gets a beating every night looking like it went 12 rounds with prime Mike Tyson…rim clocks out of work with a black eye, broken nose, swollen lips, and CTE after every shift

Jalen is averaging 10 PPG vs the Warriors this season. He has scored 20 *once* against them.

Only if nobody tried to defend Jalen, he'd be the best player in the league by a large margin... Damn all those tall dudes try to defend Jalen...

Quite a few people said we can't play worse than this. Isn't it just what a normal FVV looks like?

What frustrated me was not that Fred was missing shots... it was all the wide-open shots he missed. I mean, it happens, but could you pick a worse time? One of those shots was basically a wide-open (no defender within 6 feet) corner three in terms of difficulty. On a bad offense, it's understandable for a player like Fred to be taking difficult shots and missing them--somebody has to shoot. But he needs to be knocking down these easy looks at a high rate. It's like 50% of his job on offense (the other half is "everything else", mainly bringing the ball up and initiating plays).

IDK. We'll see how he does the rest of this series. But this was a really damaging game for my view of him as a player, personally. He truly sh*t the bed tonight. I don't care if he has a down regular season and has some games like this over the course of a full season. I do care when it's playoff time. He better show up in a big way the rest of the series.

The shooting sucked but the bigger problem was the spacing. We had very little options when the Warriors packed the paint.

I think we'll do better in G2 but man...the lack of space (and shooters) was very apparent.

Oh well, worst comes to worse we trade some of our young talent for a shooter or two. Or maybe package Jalen and the Suns pick for Booker.

You made a pretty good point up until you mentioned Luka. There was nothing in the world that brought me more joy than to watch Minnesota abuse him on the defensive end. I don't think we should blow anything up

Rockets in 6, but if we go down 0-2, I'm playing Cam in JG's spot. Nothing to lose.

Yeah I've been calling too that whole time and @LosPollosHermanos I think it was the wrong move.

We were hot, just beat the warriors, just smacked around OKC. Jalen was looking unstoppable, the team was looking amazing, and we just laid down for the rest of the season.

We had some good games there too against the Lakers, Denver, and LAC, perfect games to use as a tune up for the playoffs, to go into the playoffs with some momentum. I even said after OKC that I was happy we had a tough schedule because we get to test ourselves against veteran teams. Instead we just laid down for them, content, and ruined our momentum.

Now we have to get it back before the Warriors finish us out.

Maybe this strat works if you know you're going to get some trash team, but we KNEW we were getting the Nuggets, Clippers, Minny, or Warriors. Like we knew we were not getting an ordinary 7th seed and we were going to get a team that fought like hell to get that 7th seed because every game was a knockout game for them and we just rested despite most of our players being healthy.

My God, our backcourt sucks. No one, other than Jabari, could shoot! Its going to be a short series with this backcourt and our inability to shoot free throws.
