Shaq's not as consistant as he oncew was. he can dominate in spurts. yao however has finally become a consistant threat. i think overall yao has more effect on a outcome of a game.

We'll see. This microfracture surgery stuff isn't something to brush off. And his defense and rebounding effort isn't exactly stellar.

Shaq is still the best center in the league. He's a better low post scorer, rebounder, passer, and shot blocker than Yao. But the gap has closed quite a bit this season. By next season, Yao might very well be the best center in the league (assuming Amare going back to playing PF).

Shaq is not a better low post scorer, he shoots more than Yao. Yao hasn't really shot the ball as much as he should in his career until recently.

Explain how Shaq is a better passer? Pass me whatever your smoking buddy.

I do agree Shaq is a better rebounder and possibly better shot blocker.

Shaq right now is like the old Yao except more dominant in stretches. He has even big problems in consistency.

Thats the first time I was able to watch Chuck Hayes and he was nothing but positive. Very Bo Outlaw without the dribbling - a couple great hustle rebounds, a steal, a reverse layup, running back on a fast break... he seems like Van Gundys type of guy, wonder whats up with the lack of playing lately.

Yeah he was pissed. They deserved it at the time though. I was throwing f-bombs at my TV, too. :D
