:D I bought the idea that whenever I turned off my TV/pplive, there will be a rockets run. I turned it off after 14-0 GS run in early 4Q, thinking that is the only way I can help the rockets. And IT WORKS!!! SWEET! ;)

It seems no one mention Yao vs Fisher jump ball. Anyone thinks it will be on top ten of the night? :D

I remember Shaq was out jumped by little guy too. No big deal, bad toss, Fisher stole that one.

I'm also wondering about that. what's that little Fisher strategy. He out-jumped Yao and then Bogans, both are much taller than him.

I believe it's a violation. Fisher tip the ball away when the ball is still going up. Probably not as high as yao's head.
If you do this, the shorter the better ;)

Yep, bad toss-up by the ref. The ball was at Yao's eyelevel when Fish knocked it away. Unless the ref was a 4 year old girl, I'd say the ball still had a ways to go before either player could legally touch it.

I just read an AP report of the game on ESPN. There is no mentioning of Yao's 21 rebounds. Unfreakin'believable.

not only the ref threw the ball at yao's eyelevel, it was also BEHIND him! plus, mike dunleavy jr pretended to be the ref.

It's become fashionable among sports writers to take pot shots at Yao. Mentioning an impressive accomplishment of any kind would obviously be "uncool," whereas making fun of his jumpball loss to Derek Fisher is acceptable. :)

Personally, I'm glad Yao's no longer a media darling. I just wish everyone else would realize it and stop labeling him as "overrated" and "undeserving" when the only thing he draws these days is criticism. I don't think I've seen a non-negative article about Yao in well over a year (minus the one Kelly Dwyer wrote recently)

I was bored tonight so I checked the records of the teams the Rockets are trying to catch and take there place namely New Orleans and Lakers. Looking at both these teams records I say both New Orleans and the Lakers finish 50-31 at best and at worst finish 42-39. Thus, the Rockets MUST win at least 20 games (since the All Star break) and hope either team just starts to fall apart. This is going to be TOUGH! Good win tonight! I personally think the team to watch fall apart is New Orleans not the Lakers. The Lakers with a healthy Kobe and Phil Jackson are not going to fall apart.

Shoot, Yao is even disrespected in a way among his peers. Did anybody kinda feel funny about several of the players saying they wanted to get T-Mac the MVP of the All-Star game because the game was in his hometown? Umm, last I checked, Yao's been here longer than any other Rocket- if anything, it's more of Yao's town than anyone else's on that team. Oh, well- it's all about scoreboard- if he keeps up this production, he'll shut everyone up quick.
