the rybo sub wasn't too bad. j-rich could've got his 2pts and 1 against yao. players seem to target yao with their speed in the dying secs of quarters and refs always seem to go against yao in those situations.

Nice work by the Red Alert (or whatever they're calling you now) section. The crowd was definitely in this one.

Man, I thought my head was going to explode watching this game.

    :D

Man, did he change it! J Rich was money from downtown all game, shooting some rediculous %, and Yao came out and made him shoot an airball!

Great game by Yao and our young players. Can't say too much about Yao's game. Thought Wesley was trying to give me a heart attack. Yao had position inside, twice, and Wesley ignores him and bricks the shot. I was screamin' at the TV. If we'd lost this game, Wesley would have been mobbed by the Dawg Pound.

Hey, I heard a lot more noise than usual! You guys were making a real racket! Great job!!

Man, you could see it in his eyes. He wanted this game so badly. Perhaps, partially to prove that he can carry the team when Tracy's out, but he just wanted the game so badly. Truly, the evolution of our big man continues in front of our eyes.

sometime JVG gotta hate himself for over coaching. Took out Yao, replace with his super sub Rybo, how genius. Next thing you know, the middle was voided, J.Rich had free pass to the hole. Fortunately, the little man didnt make same mistake on the last play, intentionally or not. Good win.

GS only made 50% of their free throws... so we got lucky there... as well as all the missed layups..

They shot better from outside the 3pt line than inside..

Red Alert really worked tonight. Could hear the boos when the refs were calling BS and I don't remember the last time I heard the TC sounded this loud on TV. Good job guys.

Oh, and the Rockets weren't too shabby tonight either. ;) Except for Wesley. Pass the ball the Yao dammit!!!!

    LOL at Barney Rebel.

So, damn JVG for making Yao play defense and attempt to guard the pick and roll, that's all we hear around here, and double damn the gloomy walker of the mist when Yao wins the game with that play.

    Haha, I love it.

Darko is a tower now? Last time I watch him play, he broke his waist on a layup. :D

But why use Yao solely to set picks on the offensive end? It was then GSW went on a 14-0 run.

No... GS went on their run when Yao started off the 4th quarter on the bench (like he always does), and then he missed a couple of turnarounds when he came back in (as the team was still trying to find him in the post).

It was THEN that they went to the complete motion offense, where Yao comes out to set the pick, and then FLASHES inside to either get the swing pass, or get great rebounding position.

You can't keep Yao stagnant (in the post) because its too easy to defened... thus, the team utilizes him the best in those situations by always keeping him moving (and then the defense can't double him without the ball).

Its been the same story for 2 straight years now... he's not just setting picks, he's putting himself in a better position to eventually get the ball (when the other team is doubling).

And when he does that pick and roll with T-mac... forget it... that play will dominate the league for years to come.
