I'll take that win. Because of a coworker in the hospital and increased workload, I just finished watching the game on DVR. Yao, Artest, Battier and Baron Von Wafer kicked ass in this game.

Yao's 19 in the 4th were key, but he made it look almost easy (if scoring almost 20 in a quarter can ever be called 'easy'). Randolph should never have given Yao the business, because Yao made certain to show that young man what was freaking what.

And Artest was very, very good as well, with a sweet stat line and good defensive presence.

All-in-all a very good blowout game against an inferior opponent.

Yeah, I'm not sure... I started the post-game thread right after the horn and there were 100+ replies in it last I checked. Looks like it might have been accidentally removed... I'm sorry about that fellas. I'll check with R2K later. I'm merging with the game thread and reactivating that instead of having a new postgame thread.

he gets double and triple teamed every time pretty much ,it's amazing that he shot 12 times already

most of time he got fouled and shoot freethrow, 18 out of 20 i believe. that's really really good consider he averages like 7-8 ft a game.

i am VERY proud of rafer. he may not be an all star, but he steps it up for the team again and again.

yao finally acting like the monster he should be. hopefully he can be consistent.

    shane, we missed you.

hopefully artest can be more consistent with tonights performance and really fill in for tmac's absence.

Never good to wish injury on someone. It'll only come back to hurt this team. We've been screwed by injuries before and we can't afford to have it happen again.

Oh and don't tell me you wouldn't want Randolph on this team. That kid is an absolute monster athletically. He's also very active.

I'm taking a wild stab and guessing you didn't watch the game. I'm also guessing you didn't read the free throw stats on the box score.

if he got to the line 19 times, that's a good sign that he is getting the ball down low and scoring just fine... he was nearly perfect in the fourth quarter, from the floor and from the line...

I didn't get to watch the game today, because we only got Celtics/Trailblazers.
It is clear we scored well tonight, however after watch the Celtics our team defense worries me a bit. The Celtics team defense over 48 minutes, is what will make us a contender. I do not rate the Laker's up there, because they only play good team defense for 10 minute bursts.

That is the area, I'm going to watch for improvment over the next 2 months.

Your last few posts in the game thread tonight are all about Yao being dunked on. You have shown tons of excitement and joy in seeing that. But then when Yao tore it up in the 4th quarter, you retracted your head into your shell and chose to hide deep in your hole. Very obviously, your purpose being here is to wait for the bad moments during the game and then start bashing. Either you have your own little agenda to be here or you are having a very tough and miserable life which made you become a gay ******* like that. Did your wife just ran away with someone (if you were lucky enough to have one before)?

He is one of those fans who sits down watching games and waiting for bad stuff to happen. It makes people like that feel good to see someone better than them do poorly. In AUstralia we call it 'tall poppie syndrome'. They build this people up, so that they can critise them, when they fall from grace. Makes them feel better.

Nice game all around. Stephen Jackson had me worried for a few, but the big two for us were pretty bad ass. Yao is a serious weapon at the line, that's what makes him so good. Dude had 0 in first Q, and finished with 33..

I really missed Steve in this game. He was on the bench, he really was excited about this game and damn, really he should have played especially with that big lead at the end. The crowd would have gone WILD.
