Vasilis closest translation in English is Basil. However everyone translates Vasilis to Billy. Don't know why.

    Here are some Warriors Quotes:

    http://www.nba.com/warriors/news/recap_120506.html

    Don Nelson
    On The Rockets
"The Rockets are for real. We had no answer for anything they did. They are one of the best defensive teams we have played all year. We came in with a very aggressive game plan to attack them and move the ball and they still held us to only 90 points. I was going to attack Houston in the open court and spread their defense and it blew up in my face."
    On The Warriors' Play
"We didn't play well offensively or didn't pass or move the ball or execute our game plan. We proved we are not ready to play the best teams in the NBA."

    On Yao Ming
"He is the most dominating center in the league now. He can pass, he has the offense and the defense. He has the whole package."

    Andris Biedrins
    On The Last Two Losses
"I don't know what to say. We didn't set our minds and we weren't ready just like last night. It's hard to come back after you go down 20 points against a good team."
    On Playing Against Yao Ming
"It's pretty hard. He is so strong and is such a great player. If he gets the ball by the basket, it is really hard to stop him. He was just catching and shooting over us all game."

    Baron Davis
    On The Team's Recent Funk
"We just don't have it. We don't have to be what it takes to be an elite team. It's same ole same ole and I have no idea. I should be asking you the questions. We haven't been playing with any passion. We have to be a hard-nosed team and that is not happening. We're not a team right now and that has to change."
On What He Plans To Do
"I'm going to rest, get some sleep and try to get these last two games off my mind and then get back to working on my game. I need to get some rest and come back and get ready to play."

    Troy Murphy
    On Tonight's Game
"I think we had 11 assists as a team and that is not going to get it done. We have to pass the ball around better because 11 assists isn't going to beat anybody. We're not moving the ball around. I don't know why, your guess is better than mine. It's concerning anytime when you get thrashed two games in a row."
    On Playing Against Yao Ming
"We tried to run early with Yao (Ming) but that didn't go well for us. He's playing great. He's improved so much this year. His conditioning and strength are unbelievable. You couldn't stop him inside when he get the ball."

Man, when you have ever heard a coach basically say: I got utterly and completely outcoached?

The little man is a wizard of game management. JVG haters do not take the time to understand his genius especially on the defensive end. One of the best defensive strategists of all time. Nobody can come up with a tailored game plan like Gundy can.

Give me anybody not named Sloan, and JVG can outcoach them everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. We are lucky to have him

What other coach in the NBA can turn Ryan Bowen into a servicable playoff contributor and Chuck Hayes who couldn't make the summer league of most teams into a starting PF for a contender?

Gotta love his sick sense of humor too.

When Vspan made those crazy passes, I was like WTH was he thinking, he doesnt want PT or what. :D
Tonight shows he still has a long way to go to be a solid PG for us, but he has the tools though.
Tonight was the sneak peak of the 2006 edition of Rockets.

Now, the warriors doesnt play D.
