    how much does that suck for Golden State? They come to Texas for a back-to-back and lose by a combined 68 points... (that would have beat Cleveland the other night). :eek:

    Everything worked out fine. I was optimistic that we would win before the game started but I didn't expect a 118-90 score. It was great to see T-Mac having a great game. The only thing that was disappointing is 28.6% 3 point shooting. This will hurt us unless it doesn't get better soon.

    bonzi pretty much defines "rounding" into shape.

    and people seem to be getting a little optimistic at our offensive performance against gsw's horrific defense. when tmac has a similar attacking and shooting game against a half-decent D, we can start talking about him being back. it was certainly fun watching him tonight, especially seeing him still dunking pretty well, but this was like a scrimmage or something.

    i think vspan finally had a chance to stop being a robot and get a little work in trying to do some of the things we brought him over for and took some chances he wouldn't normally take b/c we were up so much. unfortunately it made him look pretty bad so hopefully jvg doesn't hold it too much against him.

    Man what a laugher. Our starters should be in excellent shape for our game with the T-Wolves tomorrow. No excuses.

    Things I like from this game:

    A few overhead passes from Battier to Yao;
    A few passes in traffic from Yao to T-mac;
    While Alstton was ruled by Davis, JVG substituted VSpanoulis

    1 The Warriors played no serious defense. They were a complete joke. Any team that let's Yao score 17 points in the 1st quarter is completely unprepared to play us. That's on Nellie.

    2 The Rockets were energetic and Tracy was on.

    3 The Warriors were uninspired, maybe because of a hangover from last night.

    To beat them in a blowout tonight is not impressive. However, to be leading by 28 in the 2nd quarter (even against a sluggish team) is very impressive. Even if the Warriors brought their "A" game, we would have won convincingly, but not by 28 points. I'm glad to see we were focused enough to play well in spite of bad competition. We didn't get sloppy, play down to GS's level, and blow a big portion of the lead.

    For me, this game was promising mainly because of Tracy. We will smoke this road trip if Tracy keeps this up.

    Also did ne one notice that Vspan is penetrator that rafer isn't and the hustle player that he isn't and the defender he isn't. Let's not forget head is the shooter rafer isn't. Which raises the question. Why play rafer?

    Did this really happen?

    Or maybe he was pissed that someone asked such a meaningless question on a day in which his team won so convincingly?

    T-mac looked like his old self which was great. J-Ho had 11pts and 11 rebounds. If he can be a big plus if he keeps that up. V-span gets 23 mins and scores 13 pts.

    I hope T-mac play like this on the road when the other team actually plays some defense.

    I would'nt say they started out playing no serious defense. They tried hard and went with early game plan of fronting Yao, but it backed fired on them because Yao was able to get closer to the basket via lob pass and easy dunks. As the game progressed, they stop fronting Yao and started to double team more. Give credit to Yao's team getting the ball to him in the right place ;)

    I don't want to be a wet blanket but the Warriors are the worst defensive team in the league.

    Tomorrow will be a better test.

    Gundy haters can **** up a wet dream, I tell you.

    Oh, and if we lose tomorrow (back to back games are historically bad for most teams. Just like double headers in baseball), we can just start getting back to normal around here.
