    Yao can't take too long to set up. The refs are not going to call the foul even if he gets hammered. He needs to catch and either shoot or go to the basket.

    Maybe the Rockets should copy their game plan... because their "non-fouling" defense isn't working that well.

    And the fact that he's playing (or even on this roster) speaks volumes as to the true "contender" status of this current team.

    Hell, at this point, the playoffs would feel like 2003 all over again (when we finally made it after a 4 year absence).

    It isn't about giving him a break. It's about stating a fact.

    It's not like what I said is some genius play. It's something that should have been hammered in his hand if he had played any organized ball. You either take away the outside shot or you defend the penetration.

    Problem is Novak isn't nearly quick enough to close on any of the GS guys (or most NBA players actually). He would get owned by most dudes off the bounce.

    I don't think they'll be confusing Scola for Lebron any time soon... certain players get calls, certain players don't... its been that way for over 50 years.
