we're pushing the ball and yao just avoided a posterization by blocking one of the best dunkers in the game? what's going on here.


and yao is owning the defensive glass.


if juwan howard weren't blowing easy shots all over the place i'd be worried.

 

Sura 4 for 4, that is amazing. we are having a quick start tonite. Looking good!

who are the guys in the rockets uniforms?

 

even though i knew he'd be better than the crap we were going with, i'll have to say sura has been better than i thought. if only because he's strong, has some size and speed, and pushes the ball. he actually gets some of those long rebounds we weren't getting and he tries to start the offense and he can't be pressed like 90 year old ward can. sura still can't shoot but right now i'll take it.

 

Great first quarter. Everything is going north-south, towards the basket. Howard and Yao are dominating the glass, and Sura is pushing the ball.

Anyone else notice that 95% of Juwan's misses are off the front of the rim?

 

Jesus Christ, Yao got 8 boards in the first quarter. I love his last play: go aggressive to the hole after going for the offensive board.

 

Gotta like the tempo of the game. Sura seems more comfortable attacking the basket than in previous games.

Sura has 15 points and is creating opportunities for everyone. Tmac is owning Cheaney hahaha. Even TAYLOR THREW IT DOWN. He's doing good baby..well Murphy soft too haha

Great game I need to this game as a memory...

 

Yao is best being a roleplayer at least until this team gets better shooters. He can board and get putbacks. This team as constructed just isn't a half-court team.

 

if you're 2 for 11, you should be 2 for 5. a nice yogi berra-ism from van.

 

Amazing how much better they look with a 3rd scorer on the floor.

Now this is what I'm talkin about. Run, move, and take the first good look. We ain't winding the shot clock tonight. Push it Sura. This should be good proof to Gundy of what style best suits this team. Yeah, I know it's the Warriors. But still, we get better looks off the controlled break, getting the ball inside quickly to Yao or taking it to the rim before the defense has a chance to set up, double, and rotate.

 

i think this game is gonna bring the team chemistry up!!!

 

Yes, the Warriors can't handle the stifling defense combined with an uptempo pace. Rockets are shutting them down while scoring points quickly. That's domination.

 

Think Bob Sura is getting back to 100 %. If he keep playing like this that playoff is no problem for us. Damn 7-7 dutin halftime that is fantastic plau 6 assist. What more can you ask for out of a PG.

I can smell it now we are the team that we had invision.

 

Especially from Sura. 17 pts on 7-7 shooting, 6 ast, 5 reb. Also, 2 steals and 0 TO's. He's got a shot at a triple double.

Also 14 assists and only 5 TO's for the team so far.

I'm not watching the game, but the box score seems to be telling a nice story that we haven't heard in a while.
