We have just as much talent as the Warriors, don't get that mixed up but we don't use our talent effectively like they do.

We struggle so hard to score on offense sometimes even though we have the talent to be top 5 in offensive efficiency.

We make the dumbest defensive mistakes and don't hustle for rebounds.

We are literally shooting ourselves in the foot with dumb play.

 

If that is the case he needs to adjust to what is being called out there and shoot mid range jumpers. Oh yeah Rockets shoot only 3s and layups. Enough with the BS and come out ready to compete in the second half and get this damn W.

 

I don't know if Morey has the guts to get a coach that would implement their own system and not Morey-ball. My instincts tell me Morey is a control freak who is consumed analytics and need a yes-man like McHale.

this is true. but there is a middle. 0-2 sucks, but chemistry can get us a big winning streak later on and its not going to happen this early.

Lawson?

 

My biggest problem with the rockets is style and system integration. Lawson should be the primary ballhander. The backside action sux. The teams best 3pt shooter is almost 40. How or why you want to play a style in which you're weak?

 

You're giving in to the cheke experience. You really shouldn't. He's simply gunning for reactions like this, my friend.

Bickerstaff: 2nd Q is what killed them. Ball movement dried up. 10 TOs in first half and fueled GS. Some is lack of familiarity but can't make that excuse.

But Lawson didn't cost us any rotation players. Adding a talented PG like Ty Lawson to last year's roster shouldn't make us a much worse team to start the season. That would be like expecting the Rockets to struggle early in 2013 after adding Dwight to the team.
