How soon we forget. Next Francis will have a game where he scores 20 points, dishes 10 Assist and 0 rebounds and people will complain that he doesn't rebound like he used to.

being one to lament on this bbs when rockets are in a 3 game slump, i'll say this: very impressed with the last three games.

    BRING ON THE PISTONS!

Steve's FG 1-11. His shots have been franger clangers in the last few games.

I am jumping the line, so it this has already been posted... my bad!

The Golden State anouncers were talking about the NY/Phoenix trade, and one said that Charlie Ward would be cut before the 10th (or whatever the guaranteed date is). Then he stated as a fact, "Charlie Ward will be a Rocket". It was just his opinion, but he was very sure of himself.

I tend to agree. Almost a shame as Wilks has been showing promise. Still I think Ward would be a big asset to us. Plays good D all the time, sticks the three pretty well, and can get hot.

OMG!, chris. yr sooo correct. this game was one of the most interesting games of the season's 1st half. defensively, had the rockets not annialated the jazz, this would have been a franchise record!

well i posted this in its own thread and it got locked sorry mods......but i was at the game tonight and i think i might be somewhat responsible for francis' bad shooting night....heres the deal my girlfriend knows one of the ball boys and at halftime he took us down on the court and he gave me francis' sweat/arm band whatever u wanna call it...u know the one that has his number on it. if anyone saw the game they saw he had moochies on and at the end he took it off and threw it in the fans....ill post a pic of the band if i figure out how to do it, but just wanted to take some of the heat off of francis......just wanted to tell the story.....someone tell me how to post a pic

various sources taken from the internet:

    JVG the funny guy:

"BR: What or who are you going to miss most now that you're leaving NY?

JVG: Easy answer: Charlie Ward. It's hard not to like that Bible preaching, Anti Semite, Heisman hack point guard. He means well."

    JVG getting serious:

"Coach Jeff Van Gundy objected to religion being brought into the workplace in the form of pregame chapel and postgame prayer meetings. He also complained about the amount of time the team pastor gets to spend with his players."

just checked the front page of nba.com and theres a picture of people with smiley face foamy hand things....with the kid in front suspiciously sportin the middle finger pretty clearly in the foam hand. it just threw me for a loop and thought everyone would enjoy the high school humor.

speaking of high school, id like to take this time to remind all you current high schoolers to get to bed nice and early tonight. its a school night! :D

haha ok time for me to get dressed and start my night

    GO ROX

Jimmy Jackson had 7 assists and 18 points. I like that. I'm grateful he is a Rocket! Thank you CD!

Francis lol that was hilarious his celebration. 12 assists nice...I know he will score 15 next game...along with more than 6 assists hopefully.
Wilks made a shot! YAY! I hope he stays on our team...just nice guy to have.
Mobley was good..made some..missed some..played decent defense. He just plays the game and is just a shooting guard. Produces. Great.
    Piatkowski made some shots. :)
    Jackson good.
Padgett just played some..didn't do much..offensive foul.
Cato great job..keeping up defensive intensity..and on offense..just staying within his limits..and getting easy buckets. :) AND MADE 3-4 free throws! YAY!
Taylor awesome. Had some airballs. But still great game.
Yao decent..double double..not his best game..but good enough..changed some shots like usual.

Still refs call outrageous, ridiculous fouls!

Oh well good game. Good win.

Dude, did you even see the Wilks segment that they had on Channel 13 today (6pm broadcast)? Van Gundy was ecstatic about Wilks.

I'm now convinced that the Rox have one of the best defenses in the league. Amazing.
