Every game we need some guys, say 2 or 3 guys standing up. With our Big DDD, playoff is a lock. :) :D

Little more heart? Steve always plays with heart. Plus tonight he knew his wasn't fallen so he feed the hot hand or do you want him to keep looking for his shot that wasn't there?

I really enjoyed watching this game. I hope we're starting to see a trend. Getting rid of Mooch may turn out to be the best move we've made in a long time... even if Spoon doesn't play a minute.

i thought it was a very satisfying game to watch. everyone played within their role and first 4 minutes aside, it was a pretty smooth ride. they controlled the glass, pushed the ball, and the passing was good for a rockets game :)

yes sir, im sleepin good tongiht

no, he'd pass it to the open man and make it easier on everyone else and for us to get a W. Dude have you not realized Steve has changed for the better? People used to bash him because he hogged the ball even when he couldn't find his shot, and now that he passes when he's not hot, you're complaining?!?!

Instead of risking the game for us, he'll go to practice and keep shooting.

ok ok everyone is right. lets see how many assists he can get this year. but when his scoring avg. goes down later everyone will be complaining why is he not scoring and why this and why that. hey lets see how many rebounds yao can get as well. we dont need them to score. cat can pick up the scoring right??

Alright, Jason kidd can rack up assists and get the same amount of turnovers too. Stephon Marbury recently had a 2 points and 17 assists game. Lets not talking about Iverson, he can go for 10 of 30 from the floor. Steve's shot wasn't fallen tonight so he found another way to contribute to get the W. It's a team sport and the whole team won this game tonight, everyone did their jobs tonight.

I really can't understand you. First of all his shots didn't fall doesn't mean he played with no heart. 2rd, he's a PG, which means passing, finding open men and setting up play are more important than scoring, although he is capable of scoring bunch, and he did a excellent PG job tonite. 3rd, he was keep shooting although went 0-10 and finally hit one. 11 shots seem to me was a pretty good number when your teammates were hot and your own shot was not falling. Last, we won an important game and he helped, so stop whining.

3 Wins in a row after two losses. Not bad.

Lets hope the Rox can keep this up.

As for Francis going 1-11 from the field. If he can consistently dish 12 assists and the Rox win I have no problem with that.

I'm glad none of the players on the rockets have your mentality.

the thing is the team is in a period of growth. were cutting back on the excessive shots for steve and spreading it around which is great for the team. as the rest catch up like mo did tonight and yao and the rest figure out their spots this team is only going to play like this more often. just think if francis hits half those shots, wed be great! we already got the hard part down which is defense. lets just enjoy the team through its "awkward phase"

NY on thursday is gonna be awesome! im pumped! parents are in vegas for the week! party at my house! :D

I think it's pretty funny... remember how we used to get mad at Steve because he had too many touches and ballhogged? now he's not getting as many touches [because he's mature enough to realize when he's off] and passes it to our guys and he's still getting bashed?

Good team effort despite the poor scoring from Francis and Yao.
I'm impressed that we didn't panic when we weren't scoring in the 1st quarter and that Mo kept on getting the ball in the 4th quarter but our shooting is down and although Steve is passing better and keeps opposing teams guessing he also needs to score as well which is a hard job for him.Pike does need to step up too with his shooting as well.
We need all the help we can get get from everyone but unless Yao and Francis have stronger scoring games we will struggle when the other players are having an off night.

I hate to sound like a downer on Francis right now seeing as we won and all, but as many Francis assists had today, he still had 7 turnovers, and he still took some bad shots tonight. I'm glad he deferred to the hot hand, but honestly I wasn't too impressed with his performance. I'll definitely take the win though. He just forced too many bad passes while getting his assists. Too many low bounce passes around Yao's ankles he should of never done. The first rule of thumb when passing to a big man is never make him have bend down towards his knees to receive the ball. He had atleast 3 turnovers doing just that. Then he botched a 2 on 1 fastbreak to Mobley trying to get a highlight reel alleyoop slam when he should of just settled for a fundamentally sound basket. Two points is two points, and adding style doesn't give you a bonus. He also forced some other bad passes tonight that seem to be slipping my memory, but those were the ones that really stuck out. I'm glad he got 12 assists, but I still don't like how he's distributing the ball. Play smarter and cut back on the turnovers Steve :D
