    Francis willl probably go back to old ways; like he did before after palying well. Probably loss, we aint gonna take them seriously.

    KNBR 1050 am or KNBR 680 am

    There are two links at the top of the page and the one that has always worked for me has been the one on the right. (KNBR 1050 am) Now it seems like they switched to KNBR 680. ( the link on the left) Since it looks liked they may have switched I'm not sure if the link works. If you try it can you please post and let me know if it does and which one you used. - Thanks

    This looks like a trap game to me. Last game on the homested before going on the road, just came off a big win in which we played really well and we are playing the Warriors, a team that is well coached by Musselman and really hustles.

    I have an uneasy feeling about this game. Seems the Warriors always take it to the Rockets.

    Would love to see Yao be physical with Dampier.

    Hopefully the Rockets can build on the Utah win and win this game to start the road trip with a couple of nice wins under their belt.

    Its very important for us to win this game. I was looking at the standings, and bad as we've been playing, blowing games to seattle and denver, making stupid fouls in toronto and pheonix, and juss playing a lot worse tahn we know we can be playing, we are still only 3 games behind the division leading spurs in the loss column. If we can go on a run right now we'll be in great shape and we can solidify our playoff position.

    This game worries me. First, I worry that the Rockets will fall back into old habits (Yao gets tentative, Francis tries to take over the game, lots of TOs and other dumb plays). Second, GSW needs this game way more that us (four-game losing streak, two disspointing efforts then a tough loss against DET) and I have a hunch they will play harder that us.

    For the Rockets to win they need Yao to set up early and deep against Dampier and hit a few shots and draw some fouls. Cato has to continue to protect Yao physically since Dampier and Murphy will attempt to manhandle Yao. MoT (when he gets into the game) getting into the offense will help draw a defender away from Yao. Cat usually plays well against GSW and should look to score early (GSW may try to counter with Claxton and the new foreign rookie that defends well). Last, Francis has to continue to look to move the ball early to Yao, Cat, and MoT early and *then* look for his own points. More important he needs to resist the temptation to turn this into a Francis vs NVE exhibition.

    btw, NVE has been chirping recently about Musselman's "open" offense and GSW may sneak in a few more screen plays to shake him open. Another "X" factor is Brian Cardinal... GSW always seems to get some reserve player that plays hard and picks up quick points. JJ or probably Pike needs to not lose awareness of him when in the game. Last, MDJ has been off and on (more off recently)... folks here were interested in him as a player and that may inspire him 2nite...

    Tonights game should be a piece of cake. so I guess it will be close:

    Rockets - 101 (just wishing free burgers for you lucky Houstonites, although I wouldn't trade Austin for Houston for all of the big macs in the world)
