Good win. Yao was finally dominant in the 4th quater when it mattered. IF he ever learns to seal his defender and lock in his position deep he will be unstoppable everynight like he was tonight.

One other glaring thing that stood out to me is, the team lives or dies by Rafer Alston's play. He basically played BD to a standstill and we had a chance to win. It's pretty clear he's the catalyst, the Rockets will go as Rafer goes.

I still say our offense is too easy to defend late in the 4th quarters of the game, we need motion.

    Good win none the less.

No doubt, Tmac is the best player of Rockets before 2007, everyone, including Yao do their best to support him.

Now Tmac is injured, and not so supernatural like before. Although his teammeats step up this year, and maybe Yao is better and contributes much more than him for the team. But my feeling is that Tmac is reluctant to contribute to his team and his buddies.

I bet if he was out, and Yao in last game, Jazz could never steal the win from houston. As a team leader, he shouldn't complain his teammates after the game.

can anybody here prove what i said is wrong?

But just one loss against the Jazz a couple days before and the sky was falling.

Face it. It was a big win because it was against a team ahead of them in the standings. And it was against a team that had beaten them handily twice earlier this year.

There must be some reason the people start to compare both of them. Please compare the energy level on the court from both of the guy then you will get the answer.

With T-Mac in, the player will miss their roll. Everybody don't know how to play with him. Cause they don't know what is he thinking while on the court. He is just not for this team.

Very happy that they won and i won't say anything until i see the game. It looks like a great win with really positive stats:
    - Yao for MVP !!
    - Scola starting, great !!
    - Head 20 pts & Battier hitting the three
    - Novak hitting 2 threes, great to see him being used like this
    - Rafer 12 assists

It also confirms Rafer plays better without T-mac so my suggestion is:
T-mac adapt or be traded. That doesn't mean we are better without him but the offensive is just less when T-mac handles the ball and stands around waiting for the ball.

I predict a 11-2 February. After that, it doesnt seem to be so hard to get 13-10 for the rest. A 50+ season is still in picture.
