If you have an NBA account you can watch it around 11:00 tonight. They archive the games played tonight and show them again if you have an NBA.com account.

You don't need League Pass as well?

Yao was facing some twigs tonight, Biedrins and Harrington. He did have a good night, but he's too talented to let Don Nelson shut him down with that gimick defense. I don't know how much THIS GAME proves anything about T-Mac. Didn't we just win 4 in a row WITH T-Mac? What? One loss to Utah and he sucks? Anyway, I'm out, I was jumping around when the Rockets beat the Warriors, but some of the comments on this board take the wind out of my sails.

Well....hasn't happened in 3 years, probably wont happen this year....so...ummmmmmm I think a trade is in order. This team is lookin more and more like the 93-94 Rockets, if we trade T-Mac for some good peices and picks, we can be on our way.

Those last several plays they ran for Yao, why don't they run that more often?

Basically three guys were on one half of the court out near the three point line, standing around. Yao was on the other half of the court near the low block. Rafer dribbled from the middle of the court towards Yao, angling towards the sideline, and was able to get good entry passes into Yao. From there, Yao was easily able to dribble and bull his way to the basket, without getting stripped.

I think it has more to do with how the Warriors play defense than offense. Adelman didn't use Chuck in the second half the last time we played them to try to disrupt the Warrior's plans to keep two defenders around Yao. It didn't really work then. This time, with T-Mac (our best pick and roll ball handler) not available, it made even more sense to try it.

I think we got really lucky that Harrington, Davis, and Jackson all had subpar games and shot terribly. Certainly decent D helped but it looks to me they just were having an off night as well.

They got hot later on but it wasn't enough to dig themselves out.

We'll take it, but let's not get any delusions about not needing t-mac. Our near 4th qtr collapse only tells me how badly we do need him.

We need both t-mac and yao to beat the best. Yeah, we can now beat the whimps without one.

And we can sometimes beat the good teams without one like tonight.

But to consistently win and be a serious playoff team, we need a healthy t-mac and yao.

Too late, I guess, look above a couple of posts (the first couple) from yours....we just can't seem to avoid negativity on the GARM here.....sigh...
Yeah I'm going back to hiatus mode after this to avoid stupid posts/threads by DS kids with a minimal grasp of basic grammer

You mean just cut him? That would not be smart, to say the least.

I do agree though that our role players seem to play better without him. I think when T-Mac is on the court, Luther, Scola, and to a lesser extent Rafer tighten up, worrying that they'll get the glare from T-Mac if they make a mistake.

We are a better team with T-Mac than without, but not because our role players play better with him. They play worse with him. We are better because T-Mac is just that damn talented, and he can compensates for how much worse they play with him. You don't just "get rid of" that kind of talent. There's gotta be some way to get a good PG and a good SG for him. How about Ray Felton? No idea how feasible, just throwing out a random name from a losing team that might be willing to trade.

The hell with NY. Only H-Town. As a Texan I could care less who wins the Eastern half the country bowl game.

The role players didn't play like this under JVG when T-Mac was out. We also didn't have several of the players back then or they weren't playing.

STEVE NOVAK NOVAK NOVAK NOVAK NOVAK!!!

WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO START PLAYING STEVE NOVAK MORE! DOES RA AND THE PAYERS NOT REALIZE HE IS A PURE SHOOTER AND IS AN INSTANT MONEY BALL?! I PERSONALLY EVEN THINK HIS SHOT IS MORE CLUTCH THEN TMAC'S!

I hate how after Novak gets hot, and starts drilling all his 3's, the players play away from him, JUST LIKE the JAZZ game a couple days ago, we COULD'VE WON THAT GAME IF WE WOULD'VE ALWAYS WENT TO NOVAK, LIKE THE JAZZ ALWAYS WENT TO KORVER! UGH! Team basketball equals a team win, for example, todays game. Novak seriously needs to have more playing time. Luther played almost an entire season as a starter that year tmac was injured almost the whole year, that which made Head so much better as a player overall, both defensively AND offensively.

IF NOVAK DOESN'T GET MORE PLAYING TIME, HOW WILL HIS DEFENSE IMPROVE!? I HOPE HIS ALL START SHOOTING ABILITY GETS HIM SOMEWHERE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

WE NEED TO MAKE MORE PLAYS FOR NOVAK! UGH!!!

This game and this season in general. This is not working with him as the feature guy, time to go in a different direction...Respect my opinion, I respect yours. This IS the same team that knocked out No. 1 Dallas last year.

The mascot trick is a good one, Yao got plenty time to rest. I wonder why they dont thought about this long time ago. Yao played a good game, ref gave a lot of call to rox, I guess this would only happen one or two times a year.

GSW sucks, davis is in a slump. Novak is a dead-eye shotter, why they don't feed him ball more often is confusing. Novak did two bad plays but I dont think it's his fault.

The Rockets zone defense got them a couple stops late in the game. It's the first time I can remember Rockets successfully employing the zone on successive possessions in a close game.

I really hate newbies that don't know what they are talking about

typical response from you know what type of fans for making comments about Yao that does not make him Godlike

Just because I'm not butt munching Yao doesn't mean I don't know what's going on during the game.

when we started forcing it in, we stood around and became stagnant on offense, and when Yao finally got the ball, there were 3 guys already on him and alot of times the ball was being poked away from him, hence the GS run that made this close.

he needs to build up his confidence and dare to put up some "wild" shots, just like stojakovic...
