    Kerr has 5 rings. He was a role player, but a championship caliber one. Not to mention he played most of his career under Phil Jackson and Greg Popovich. Think he picked up a few things from those two?

    I do agree though that former superstars in the league almost never make great(or even good) head coaches. The lone exception in recent times was Larry Bird and even he had a short run with the Pacers(not counting his front office tenure).

    everyone wants to say kerr is out coaching mchale, all the warriors are doing is running p&r spacing the floor... they can make cuts because of this easy, they have shooters also on the ring
