ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 1/17/2015

I came home from work turned the game on. It was like an 8pt game. Then suckitude.

 

Honestly, I don't get the fouls tonight. At least we don't have the same refs as the Bulls game. It'll end soon.

 

How much of an incompetent idiot does someone have to be for giving me rep when they obviously didn't mean to? "Just stop. You sound like a cry baby." Thanks for the rep half-wit.

You mean offensively, other the last quarter the Rockets has been scoring at will until harden decided to force everything, when Houston moved the ball and went inside no problem scoring, but every time harden decide to go iso, Houston struggles.

 

Is McHale an idiot? Can he see what it was happening?

 

Fair or not, better teammates or not, better coach or not, James Harden just lost the MVP race tonight to Curry. The voters will remember how easily the Warriors neutralized Harden and how easily Curry got his points.

I'm also concerned that James and Dwight can't ever seem to play well in the same game. To me, that indicates a game plan that has not been properly designed to blend talents. I also suspect that the games of Harden and Dwight just aren't complementary as a 1-2 punch.

But it's also a case where the Warriors are just a completely superior team to the Rockets in all aspects - talent, coaching and cohesion. The Rockets are just less than the sum of their parts.

 

Mchale out-coached big time.

 

A new coach would do wonders for this team

 

Astros have a way better future than the Rockets. We have reached our ceiling with this team. We are not finals contenders.

 

Can't believe we have three more years of watching this jackass coach.

It's always the scrubs/role players like Kerr that make the best coaches. Mchale was a star in his playing days. The game came easy to him, that's why he doesn't know how to coach.

 

We lost in 1 quarter, like many others.

 

Like Papanikolaou was going to turn this game around.

Well this sucks balls... GS is a level or two above us, on both ends. Sad wake up call, the Rockets just aren't that good. Hope they realise they need to put in a lot more hard work to become a championship level team. It takes a lot more than just claiming it like Dwight and James always do
