This is a no brainer. national broadcast---MVP chase for Harden-Pic n Roll is No 1 with a bullet and just bumped off the Beatles greatest hits-Dwight Howard is humble and Josh Smith had him as his best man. So dat's dat !

YUh,....I re-played it 3 times and then dragged my wife in to watch it. There are 3 people...well four actually...that can not and must not go away where else next year...the givens of course..Harden/Howard...and Josh and Corey. This is a four headed beast that can clearly dominate the floor when going all out.

Josh Smith is so sincere and so happy and so gettin jiggy wid it....that I think the Age of Aquarius just broke out in the locker room.

Raving about his teammates and saying he "loves" the guys.

JSmoove threw 3 assists to Dwight during that game, maybe more, but every time I saw it I thought to myself:

Glad the Rockets got the win. They could have really taken it easy against these guys and dropped the ball.

Dwight let the offense come to him, and it was great. The thing about Dwight is that he will still get some points and offense, but what was great was the way he was protecting the rim and the paint. He did a good job.

It was very valuable to have Dwight in their protecting the paint. His rebounds were a little low, but it didn't seem like the Rockets were hurt by lack of rebounding.

interview was about him and his performance but he kept mentioning his teammates and how they were truly his "brothers" but it was so genuine.

Unless the roster is drastically changed i dont see him going anywhere and i also see him taking less money

Smoove looked genuinely happy in that post game interview. Not just thrilled with the bball situation, but it sounded like he's in a good place in his life.

I dont think the rebounding numbers for Dwight matter to be honest. First off the team outrebounded the Wolves 41-31 and outrebounded the Pelicans 43-37 in the two games Dwight has played in. With Dwight having been out for so long the team philosophy for rebounding had to change. They couldn't rely on one guy back there to gobble up all the boards (like the clippers for example). This is going to possibly change as the team adjust to having a guy like Dwight back there. It can have a huge effect on the teams transition game as Dwight and the PF can stay back to secure the rebound while the wings can leak out a bit earlier (hello Brewer!). Of course this will come with time.

The two huge things though was that Dwight did not force a single thing. If a rebound was there that could be his or a teammates but they would have to "fight" for it. He didnt try to force it. He grabbed the rebounds that were his with authority. Guys didnt try to challenge him in the paint (LaVine tried and we all know what happened then). On offense he got dunk after dunk off of pick and rolls and easy cuts. Its like you look up and what he has 18 points? He looked to post up but didnt try to force a move when it wasnt there. Limited minutes and he was +20 - the best on the team. Most importantly the team got the W and it looks like he feels good. Big thing is to see if the team will see how he may do in a back to back being so low on big men at the moment. Thank God the injuries to Jones and DMo are short term

Who was the green bear (looked like Clutch on a diet) in the trash can? Watching him and the other "mascots" rush to/from behind the basket during T-Wolves FTAs was hilarious.

Great to get the win. Harden finally shoot well from 3 as did the entire team. Was hoping Josh got that triple double for deserved recognition around the league.

Wiggins is a certified beast! He's much stronger than he looks. He abused Ariza with strength and athleticsm. He appears to be Pippen with more offensive game. Handling double teams is the only flaw he displayed last night.... experience will solve that.

Memphis lost too and with Beard's 33 points he moves within .04 of Westbrook for the scoring title.

    Great night for Houston basketball!
