This game showed how important Jabari is for our defense. We don't win without him. Props to Jalen for his monster performance, too.

His near triple-double (8 TOs) along with the missed bunnies at the rim were unforgiveable.

Sorry, but there is no legit way to view this game as a positive for Alpi.

But there was no rim protector + Amen downhill is unstoppable + the most efficient offensive player on the Rockets tonight.

Jabari’s length and quickness was missed on D. He opens up space for Jalen/Amen too with the 3 ball threat. Huge win for playoff positioning.

Low turnovers and setting up Sengun is basic for any good pg. Defense ok I will give him that FVV is elite defensively.

Late game winning plays? Our late game closers should be Sengun, JG and Amen. FVV shouldnt be closing games we lose when he tries to be the hero like the time he missed 3 straight 3s to cost us the game.

If we had Tyus Jones, Malcolm Brogdon, Jrue Holiday basically any above average or better pg I think we wouldnt miss FVV so much.

Amen is getting better at knowing when he has a legit advantage over the defense. He's not unstoppable yet. When his handle can keep up with his first step and raw speed, then he'll be unstoppable in half-court.

He doesn’t affect winning. Often making losing decisions. Sure he can put up 2-3 buckets in a row but then that’s followed by a string of bad plays on both sides of the ball and TO’s. Just not good enough to play.

If you actually watched the game you would have seen Sengun being the hub. He got so much TOs cuz the refs werent calling fouls on him. Him and JG were the offensive creators for this game and they managed to close it out so give them credit.

Rockets don’t win tonight without him. Scored 7-8 pts straight.

The most annoying thing is that I LITERALLY get better NBA coverage for cheaper in CHINA of all places (the league pass here is like 60rmb for 3 months) then I ever do when I'm back home. Something's got to change...

Why are we playing Tate over Cam, who is bigger, stronger and a better player overall?

Cam needs development time would rather those 7 minutes go to him.

I actually agree with you for the most part, i hated when he had the green light to shoot whatever he wanted but once Amen came into the lineup he played more to his role of being a floor general and only shooting within the offense. Hes definitely overpaid for his what he actually contributes but because of him we have better tempo and overall flow. He makes Sengun better with his pick n rolls and makes him overall more efficient than what we are seeing now without FVV. So i think he does just that, plays a PG role thats crucial for the team full of young guys with little experience even if he himself is not that talented. Which we pretty much knew what we were getting when we signed him to play that veteran role.

Jabari made a big impact in his first game back--his length, shooting, ability to space the floor and overall high basketball IQ (last foul aside) were absolutely needed for us to win.

I'm really glad he's back, and his shot is looking better than ever!
