Firing Ime would be ridiculous, but he does need to get some heat for his crazy rotations that have blown numerous games. I said it before, we will not make the playoffs as the 27th worst offense in the league and that is squarely on Ime's shoulders. Sure it could be easier if we got some shooters or FVV and Jalen suddenly found their stroke. What are the odds of that? We are in second now, but won't be after this stretch of 18 games unless Ime can figure out that FVV needs to play a whole lot less.

 

Only 3 players on the team I would want taking clutch free throws the last 2 minutes, Jalen, Brooks, and Holliday. All the rest of them seem to pucker up way too much.

 

A needed loss. Team was getting cocky and needed to get knocked off their high horse.

Disrespect your opponents and don't take them seriously, they're gonna beat your azz.

I swear if I keep seeing them chuck up 3s during a 3v2 fast break, imma break my monitor.

To me the only smart players on this team are Amen, Sengun, Holiday, Tate and Adams. and by smart I mean they let the game come to them instead of forcing things. That's just my opinion.

 

Because ever since he beats the warriors in 2019 nba finals, he thinks he's curry now.

 

I started watching a movie ("Conclave") with the Rockets down at halftime and then caught the last 42 seconds only , which were frustrating and dumb, but lol had no idea they were up 16.

No he didn’t. He missed 2 critical FT’s. He just needed 1 to put them up 4 and then 3 at the time and didn’t secure it

 

What? 1 FT to put them up 3. What are you even talking about?

 

I said it’s on everyone including coaching. But if Sengun wants to be great you hit your FT’s period. He was 6/10 and went 2/4 in those critical moments late.

 

We gave it up. Learn and move on.

 

Tate played good defense the entire game

 

Oh another thing. For those who kept asking why didn't Cam get more minutes. Did y'all not watch him on defense?

Cam kept playing the passing lane and go for steal. Did not keep his man in front of him. During Wolves' fastbreak, instead of getting back on defense he went for the steal. There was one play where he should have been the last man of defense but because he went for a steal, wolves got a wide open layup.

This is why he can't get consistent minutes. I want Cam to succeed. I want Cam to be the starting 2 guard moving forward but if he can't commit and understand he needs to play "team" defense instead of "individual" defense he's not going to crack the rotation consistently.

 

They can’t expect to win against good vet teams with Cam and Reed. I really don’t understand Why Jeff Green doesn’t play. Has he declined that much? Reed is good enough against Pelicans or Hornets but you absolutely can’t play him against these tough teams. Frustrating Udoka always makes the change to Holiday when its too late. Every single posession counts

 

it was only fair it happened to the rockets lol.

now all we need is Tate to drop 50 against the wolves the next time rockets play them.

 

1. Need to het an additional attempt at 3pt to tie..
2. Better plan than FVV 30 footer (hot or not)
3. Hit free throws. Take no thing for granted.

 

Agree with you. Been saying this. Can’t run that tired 2 man game with Fred or let him dominate touches. Either put it in Amen’s hands or Jalen. Let these explosive players cook
