The promotion has changed. Now only Bonzi Wells (and his groupies) get all the Big Macs.

Can someone youtube or get a copy of the sportscenter highlights of the game please...I saw myself on the espn.com recap page highlights and now I want the video haha...Got some really nice seats by the T-Wolve's bench tonight from my Dad's clients...Pretty cool to watch the game from that close, and I got Rudy T's autograph, so I'd say it was a good night :)

Some of all y'alls POV's on here crack me up ...

Look it doesnt take an Einstein to figure that the Rox are playing mostly 'ugly ball' BUT they're winning!

For the most part just about every team has near to even talent when you take in consideration ALL the pieces of the team. The difference from there is turnover ratio, execution and DEFENSE!

Why are the Rox 10-4? It's all about the D. We have the #1 scoring defense in the NBA and the nearest opponent is either SA or NOK and the difference is over 2 pts.

You see NOK got off to that great start but, now Peja is injured and they dont get Yao production from Tyson Chandler. That's why they are now 8-7.

The Jazz have lost a few along the way and their ppg is going comparatively down.

I mean some of you on here think we, the Rox should be winning by 20+ every game. That is unrealistic! The Rox will never be the Suns but, look at the track record.

Yes, Phoenix looks great in the regular season but come playoff time their game bogs down and they struggle in the latter rounds against more superior talent.

Defense whether you like it or not, STILL wins championships!

Teams of the past that win consistently focus ON defense. the Spurs, the Heat, the Pistons, etc. Otherwise, it's very difficult to win night in and night out.

Teams like the Kings and the Suns are fun to watch but when the rubber hits the road they largely fan in the clutch against superior defensed teams.

The Rox will improve their offense, it would be nice to see Fussy Smells and hopefully soon, Bad Boy Bobby once again.

Just wait, the play will improve but, if you can demonstrate the ability to WIN games like this, when T-Mac struggles as does most of the team except for Yao, Battier and 4th Q stretch with Rafer, that does two things creates doubt for your opponents considering you shot a better % (48 to 38) about being able to beat the Rox and two, really gives your teammates a huge boost of confidence to imagine how good can they really be when they really start ballin'. :D

    I call Blasphemy.

Dude you make it sound like a good thing!!

I once was a senior member though. Then I got knocked back (presumably for my 2 week off work post fest, ok not presumably) to Rook.

Since then I've gotten away from the BBS a bit and only just starting to work a few posts in here and there. I'm not concerned if my status says "Rookie" for the rest of my life, but that doesnt make me proud of being the Rookie with the largest post count.

as Carlito would say - "that's not cool"

so dont litter the boards with rubbish. If you have random thoughts contain them to one post. If you flaunt the fact your trying to bump up your post count, then others are just gonna think your a wank. You wont get ANY respect and the admin guys aren't gonna give you membership status. If anything they'll ban your ass...I've been here long enough to see it.

instead of appealing the mod for "junior member" - I think you should apply for "junior rookie".

Not quite! The fans do get Big Macs when Bonzi scores 10 points!

As a side note, I also heard that JVG just bought 20% interest in MacDonald's

Does that say anything about when Bonzi will play next! :D Don't hold your breath!

    good because he's giving us 19ppg. ;)

i'm not gonna say i'm not concerned with him, but he has shown marked improvement since week one, and just one game ago he was fantastic. tonight's game was a setback only cause of the injury, imo.

t-mac seemed ok in the second half, and made his two most "athletic" plays after coming back in. he should be fine for tomorrow.

yao to me walked off the court exactly the same way he does after every game, the only difference was he made a pretty big grimace in front of the camera. no idea what's up with that but imo, its probably normal game wear and tear.

Win is all that matters in a basketball game. So 10-4 is perfect. :)

If I had to guess, I would guess that you got knocked down for your rookie bashing.

    I found you really annoying.

Garnnet doubled down on Yao anytime he got the ball even when chuck stayed out of the paint because he fely no need to guard chucky this happened everytime Yao touched the ball but he adjusted very well

Ok I want to put this up without creating a new thread.

As yall know I'm a semi-Yao-Only-Fan. Being a SYOF, I am especially conscious of how and when Yao gets his point, who assists him the most, etc.

From my observation, TMac is the one going the extra mile in assisting Yao. Yao scores the most when TMac is on the floor with him, because TMac makes a cautious effort of finding Yao. Sometimes he moves with purpose just to find an opening for Yao.

Yao also gets a fair amount of assists from Rafer.

On the other hand, my impression is that Yao doesn't get many assists from Luther Head.

Is there any stat that tracks who are the ones at the receiving end of a player's assists, and conversely who are the ones at the dishing end of a player's assisted shots?

    hahahahaha

I like Rafer, I really do, but inconsistent shooting will cost us games...I don't care if he's open or not, his shot has been going down each game...I thought at the start of the season that he really improved his shot tremendously, but now I realize that it has been pure luck....I bet he will continue to shoot like Bill Cheney....Too bad we don't have better shooters at the point, but giving the athelticism and court vision that VSpan has, I'd go with Baklava any day any time!

Thanks... so, the rule of thumb seems to be that when the Rockets hold a team below their season average in scoring, they win. Otherwise, they lose.

Luther Head does not have the PG skills guys like TMac and Alston have.
