He got elbowed in the lower left side by Mike James in the 1st quarter. He returned in the 3rd quarter but he didn't seem to be 100%. He should be fine by tomorrow if you ask me.

I agree... Luther does not play well at the point. He's a shooting guard, and we need Spanoulis to step up his game so that we can get some quality depth behind Rafer. What I like about VSpan is that he has a quick first step and always makes something happen when he attacks the basket. If he can learn to do that more...he will become a real asset for us.

Yes, Yao was limping a bit back to the locker room. Nobody knows why...but it didn't seem like a serious injury either.

yao's mobility and stamina has increased... now he can move from left block to right block then back to left block to get the ball.

I was watching the same thing you were watching and I noticed no such thing. Yao looked normal and then walked into the tunnel while giving a few high 5's on the way. Hopefully it was your imagination playing tricks on you.

There is a lot of Rookie-hate on this board. I don't think your sig is gay  .

We are all roxs fans here, so we do have that in common.

    Rock-on HoopsFancy ;)

Anyone know how long it takes for the post game quotes to come out on the net? I'm a little concerned about the status of Yao and Mac.

I have no problem playing Rafer. I am just saying he should shoot less, much less.

Does that post qualify as more than a "one-liner post"? Even if it's not 2 full sentences. Watch out now

Great win tonight. I am really concerned about tomorrow's game though :(

The Rockets offense creates those shots. Rafer is taking a few bad shots, but for the most part the three-pointers are wide open and it would be a disservice not to take them. They're set up by inside-out passing or T-Mac penetrating and kicking out or simply whipping it around the perimeter.

That's the problem with having a guy there who can't consistently knock them down.

When Rafer is cold, you have to give him less time. Unfortunately both Luther and T-Mac were cold today as well. Yao and Battier bailed the team out big time.

That post is more along the lines of:

"Yao Ming has red hat...he plays warcraft and he kill my character because I like ice cream."

I don't know how the clutchfans post sorter would deal with that one.

many thanks, man :) Hopefully TMac shines tomorrow. His current performance really concerns me. He can be the playmaker all he wants, but he needs to get his shooting touch back, we'll need it from time to time. On the Yao limping, Yao always has a high pain threshold. Again hope it's just something minor.

    Go Rockets!

Precisely, we don't even need a prototypical point guard. We just need a Kenny Smith type character that will drop 3 pointers at a clip of 40% and pop those 3s off of kickouts from Yao or McGrady.
