I hope Yao will be ready to go tomorrow. I heard the end of the game where Bill Worell mention something like "I hope Yao will be ready for tomorrow's game against the Suns". Yao is then shown with limp off the court. I hope it isn't anything serious.

Maturity of our stars, especially Yao, better role players, and most importantly, better chemistry. It's a sign of a championship-calibur team. Look at how the Spurs never gave up against us two weeks ago. We're getting that same feel now.

It's all about making it consistant now.

    For a score from 0-5:
    Yao 5
    Battier 5
    Chuck 4
    Tmac 3
    Alston 2
    V-span 2
    Head 2
    JoH 0.5
    JVG 4

    Correction is welcome.

Besides his shooting, Rafer had a pretty darn good game. Took over down the stretch, 7 assists, 2 TOs, 3 steals and 3 blocks.

Tmac is being too passive he needs to score 20+ ppg for this team to succeed.

Otherwise the rest of the team will wear down...come on Tmac...wake up, we need you !

And that limp by Yao is worrying, especially following that someone saw him at the doctor, I hope his feet are ok.

I just realized Battier is 5 for 5 from 3 pt land tonight.

I guess he read this board and saw all this bashing about him being useless in offense and decided to show it off.

It's not about correction, but Tracy was the 2 and Rafer stepped up very very late to be a 3. JVG deserves a 5 for trusting Rafer. Not one guy on this board thought that was the right move.

So... what happened to Mike James? I love him and he doesn't seem to fit over in Minny.

Rafer, TMac, and everyone not named Yao or Battier missed a ton of shots, but it's a good game. The defense and rebounding were there when the shots were not falling. I don't hate on guys for taking good shots and just missing them.

I agree. 3-3.5. Everyone not named Battier and Yao shot badly. Not sure why everyone is so onto Rafer about his shooting tonight, especially when he did well in every other category just about (including some very nice rotation D/help D).

I dont know if I agree with the + part of 20. I like his current metamorphosis into TMagic with the assists.

We are living dangerously by that 3 point line. We live tonight. I thought JVG wanted us to shoot less trey, but still jacked up 25 of them tonight.
We have two type of shots, shots in the paint by Yao or penetration, and 3pt bombs. There almost no in between except Tmac shoot some them, or some deperate shots. I see JVG's philopsophy now. :D

Also how the hell we attempted 79 feild goal vs Minny's 65?

I think Minny is still lotto bound this year. Poor KG.

    We won.

I wish rafer would stop trying to penetrate, but take more 3s.

I wish McGrady would stop jump shooting, but penetrate more.

They need to switch their offenses. :)

Battier deserves a lot of credit for the win today. I'm worried about T-Mac's shooting he needs to play a lot better against the Suns in order to beat them.

Rafer's penetration led to the 2 Battier 3s which essentially won the game.
