Prepare for James' break out game of the year, where he torches Alston yet again, and KG is who he is. However, the Rockets are the better team. I say they put together four quarters and win by 15-20.

Timberwolves is not bad. They are at 6-6 and better than most of the teams we have beaten. This will be a good test of where this team is.

Rox win a hard-fought game. VSapn and Novak both have 10point contribution. Chuck Hayes with another double double. :)

My prediction for the game with my own ode to Daryl Morrey statistical analysis:

    Rockets Starters
    Yao - 10
    Hayes – 3
    Battier - 5
    McGrady - 9
    Alston - 4
    6th man
    Head - 4
    Bench
    V-Span - 2
    Mutombo – 1
    Padgett - 1

    Wolves Starters
    Blount – 3
    Garnett - 10
    Hassell - 3
    Davis - 6
    James - 4
    6th man
    Jaric - 2
    Bench
    Smith - 3
    Hudson - 2
    Foye - 2

    Formula: (Starters x 2) + (6th man x 1.5) + (Bench x 1) + 3 for home court advantage + number of wins in last 10 games (momentum factor)

    Rockets total: 84.0
    Timberwolves total: 66.5

    Therefore, Rockets win! :)
Matador prediction record to date: 5-3

    Shane has a breakout game

    12 pts
5 rebs (werent we expecting better rebounding numbers?)
    2 stls
    6 charges taken

Rox win big behind Yao / Tmac 102 - 82 (Novak and VSpan getting plenty of playing time in the 4th)
