If Chuck Hayes could only develop a consistant jumper he'd be one of the best role players in the league, of course that also means that they probaly wouldn't have Hayes.

Yahoo says Yao and Mutombo both have technicals. Were those just illegal defenses/defensive 3 second violations or something more interesting?

Iknow- very weak. That was the highlight of his career. Not at all like The Tmac Dunk on Bradley. Ride a Mav baby

That feature was pretty pathetic. That wasn't really a notable dunk. Hassell dunks while Yao is on the court. Whoopdee-damn-doo.

Then the announcer meekly says: "Well it looks like Yao is winning the battle tonight..."

and when snyder gets back, i would bet he eats into rafers minutes. not as a point guard, but he will take minutes from luther and billy at the 2/3. in turn, billy and head will take more minutes from rafer at the 1.

    at least i hope.

They are both MUCH taller than Nate. Their lack of strength is a bit too much.

Well.. those were mostly good shots. They double, triple teamed Yao, leaving other guys open, but we just miss those wide open shots.

I have a question for yall rox experts

Why doesn't yao take facing the basket jumpers in the perimeter where he can make them with ease and conserve energy instead of constantly fighting and grinding down in the low post?

Why not? He just did a decent one in the Memphis game, early second half IIRC.

Most of Chuck's his misses have come off offensive rebounds. He's having a tough time finishing over Garnett.

I expect that if McGrady doesn't play the second half, we're going to have a real tough time scoring. Hopefully we get something good from Spanoulis in the second half.

Our offense is suffocating and the game is ugly. We need some one to make wolves pay for doubling Yao. In another words, if I don't see bonzi and Novak on the court in the second half, I'll curse JVG twice every day before bed time.

I would say that is because Yao makes about 65% of his shots near the basket, and only about 45% from the perimeter.

Alright. He missed two or three easy ones against Minnesota.
