I don't agree with this assertion. Every player needs to play defense. Think about what you just said. I think you're astute enough to realize that relegating Bev to a fallback for defense because another player can't is a horrible approach for a team aspiring to get to the Finals.

Sometimes there are just games like this, if we had been on the receiving end Cfans would have been in meltdown about our D.

Brooks and Bev went off from 3. That had nothing to do with Harden, Lin,McHale or the Twolves.

If you have a healthy Harden the team becomes unstoppable.

I keep reading this and it is wrong, you clearly are seeing what you want to see.

Harden is good at breaking his man down 1 on 1, he also gets the ball in the block. He runs plenty of pick n rolls and we still run plays for other players.

To say we only run iso's when Hardens plays is just a ridiculous statement to make.

It is really amazing at how many people trash a particular player and are completely wrong.

Here is a fact, our team and coaching staff are horrible at playing a structured game. We don't have a large array of offensive sets, our players are not that smart with decision making. That has more to do with the offense becoming stagnant, not one particular player.

Looks like you are right. Lin was only the second highest scorer Rocket scorer for the night with 19 points. His hit 40% of his threes and over 50% of his two. Total FG% 45. He also has two steals and was tied for the most assits with 5. Looks like a performance that should keep him at the end of the bench.

The ball needs to move better with Harden in the game, but anybody that thinks this team is better without Harden is confused.

So you'r saying AB's defense is so bad that his offensive outputs or game is not enough to offset it. Plus he wasn't horrible on defense. There were maybe one or two plays he got beat tonight. He actually defended pretty well considering the size difference .

Only if he starts passing the ball early and not pounding it into the court.

Here is the thing, we still had 20+ turnovers tonight. The offense wasn't that great just because we put up points. Protecting the ball would have ended the game by midway through the 3rd.

Turnovers and defensive lapses are a major TEAM PROBLEM!

I agree with your last assertion about JH. We need him to win in playoffs. But we also need him play defense in order to win championship:)

20+ turnovers because everyone is trying to play PG.

agreed, same thing with post plays for Howard. get some ball and player movement before going with the iso on the perimeter or the block.

The only thing this team is lacking is a "closer".

This isn't the first time either. The whole point of many teams scouting and defensively adjusting to Lin's offensive game during & after "Linsanity" was to shut him down. Lin has done well time & again and has proven that he can overcome those defenses. But, he still has room to improve and should focus on improving.
