Olowokandi is fronting yao and he's letting him.

their not doubling him but Garnet cheats alot trying to thwart the pass down low.

Yao has got to step up to the pass, his teamates are losing confidence passing to him when the result is a turnover.

It's kind of hard for Yao to step up when he has no touches and the freaking guards can't him the ball.

it seems clear to me, that van gundy is saving yao for the 2nd half. thats what he has been doing the last few games. yao is the go to guy in the 4th. remember kings game, last memphis game, we went straight to yao, and he delivered that sweet turnaround.

Yao just got benched with 9 minutes left in the 3rd.

I don't think JVG is all to pleased with his play... he's struggling tonight.

He's letting Olowokandi push him off the block too many times. No agreesiveness at all tonight. He's not even fighting for rebounds.

He should just bench for the whole game like he did against the celtics last year. You gotta play 100% everygame not have one good game every 1 and half weeks to survive in this league as a superstar!

Les Alexander is going to have to think hard before giving a max contract to Yao. One has to weigh the financial benefits of having him on the team, but his production on the court does not warrant a max contract. No max contract go-to player gets benched 3 minutes into the 2nd half.

When Yao doesn't move his feet on defense, he becomes a huge liability. When he's not making his shots, he's not scoring... although JVG does not really care about that.

But, Yao was not guarding anybody out there... and he's too slow to help out on Garnett, and recover to guard Oliwokandi.

We aren't too far away from them and Yao isn't in foul trouble he needs to step up. If he isn't doing anything right then benching him for a while is the right thing to do.

Right now, they're playing better defense when Yao isn't out there... if that's the case, and the offense isn't in too much shambles (which its not), JVG will sit him down 10 times out of 10.

Yao may have to tell the Chinese government to teach their basketball players how to shoot a jumper. AFter watching an Olympics game in which China's team was filled with brickers and now Yao is a bricker, it makes me think Cato is the jumpshooting professor over in China. If the jumpshooting spirit of Cato has entered Yao, there needs to be an exorcism.

Its the energy level... when Yao gets aggressive, he starts drawing fouls, he starts making shots, and he gets confidence.

    Be Agressive... B-E- AGGRESSIVE!
