I’m assuming when Sengun gets back we will start winning some more games.

Or not. I don’t even know any more. But I sure do miss our Turkish dervish

 

Didn’t watch the game but looking at the box score it looks like we were demolished in the paint.

 

how come silas is never to be blamed for the loss or anythiong else?
its always players fault because they are the ones that play... i dont get it?

 

we are on the right track wolves are just not a good match up for us...and this team lacks true talent

Everyone blames him every game. Look guys, he realistically has about 1-2 years left here. If we dont improve, he'll be gone. Same with KPJ, everybody losing their minds here needs to just have patience, nothing that's happening here has serious consequences on the future.

 

Makes you wonder a bit what place the rockets will finish next season. I’m guessing somewhere between 5th-8th worst record. Unless they want one more year of a top pick. This will depend on what happens in the draft and with Wall this off-season too though.

 

People that were at the game in the Twitter spaces talking about Silas and the bench.. not great..

I know some of you guys are on the mic. Basically saying all the points we have been saying in the game thread

 

Wood got dominated by KAT. But you know what? So did a healthy AD. KAT's a really, really good center. And although I am literally clamoring for a Wood trade (due to attitude, among other things), it often felt he and Christopher were the only one's out there taking things personally. They played with attitude tonight, were frustrated, yes, but were taking out that frustration on the court by going to the basket, making life more difficult on the defense, and putting up points.

Yes, we're a young team. But you can't just sit around complaining to refs on the other side of the court, which happens WAY too often.

I guess the silver lining is, if this keeps up, most of our debates here will be moot. Sengun will play until he fouls out every night. Garuba will get 20+ mpg. Nix and Queen will get significant time nightly, etc. We'll look more like a G League team than we already do, but at least we'll have decided some of the things the FO was excited about didn't work (especially KPJ at PG which is pretty much a failure).

 

Silas will only play him 18 minutes as usual.
Sengun even can’t get many touches on the court.
Don’t underestimate Silas foolishness.

 

Lol Wood got dominated by most of teams centers. He is playing soft and no rim protection at all.

 

Wood got dominated by KAT, and I considered KAT one of the softer big men. Trade Wood asap. Man only show up and tries after someone calls him out

To be honest, compared to Tate tonight he looked like Giannis on D. It was a bad night all around, but an especially shocking one for some of the guys like Tate who you think of as strong defenders and one of those guys that plays hard and doesn't give up on plays.

 

Guess which quarters of next game will go into trash time? Wood will be eat alive by Embiid next game.
