Wolves is a good team, that said some keys.

1. Wolves defensive philosophy is defend the paint < 3ft and defend the 3's. Their goal is to funnel opponents to shoot long mid-range shots.

My advice is don't fall for it. We don't have an LeMarcus Aldridge, an occasional middy from FVV, Jalen, or Alp (flamingo) is OK, but shouldn't be heavy in the shot diet.​

We're not a high scoring team, shot selection matters more to us than other teams.​

2. Wolves is on a 2-loss skid. The way Pels won is similar to us, they got Rudy in foul trouble. Then made 70%+ shots on the inside, coupled that with corner 3's. This is not unfamiliar to the Senhub we've been running.

3. Wolves still with the best record in the west, is one of the highest turn over team this year, in the tier of the Pistons and Spurs. Coaching staff should go through their roster all the way down to Kyle Anderson, to see which guy has been more TO this year. With Rocket's stingy defense, there's opportunities there.

4. Be physical and bully the Wolves like the Pels did.

Vegas likely still favor the Wolves, which is fine. But it's likely something close within 55%-45%, not something lopsided like 70-30%.

It's a coin-flip, but this game is a possible get for us at home.

Yea, all them draft picks for Rudy was so that they can do this. They've been using it on almost all their opponents this year.

Jalen is good enough at the 3, where Jalen is much more valuable as a spacer or attack the paint than middy. Jalen's middy attempts this year (like most NBA palyers) is low; so I'm not too worried unless they fall for the bait.

 

Actually this season most of his attempts to slash in for slam dunk lead to falling down to the ground awkwardly, seems his body can't take any contact either in the air or on the floor.
Also, a regression in his ball handling just blows my mind…I've been scaling down the bar and lowering down my expectation to him - a spot shooter (best scenario)
