Um, the blow out started in the 3rd when Scola was on the bench and stayed there for the rest of the game. Patterson was a huge part of that wet toilet paper defense. invisible on the boards and the other side of the court too.

The game was lost because McHale gambled on keeping Pat out there.

Aha, I was wondering when somebody else would wonder this. There's no doubt in my mind him and Dragic are being shopped. How else do you explain Lowry not even being in with the small lineup tonight??? We are showcasing both guys. And frankly, I am beginning to wonder if it is the right time to move Kyle when his value is so high. Right now, for the moment, Dragic is faster, and the better defender.

Frankly, I think we are watching the last days of Lowry and Scola in Rox unis. And we may be watching the last days of Martin and Dally too. But I am convinced that Lowry and Scola are being traded. We keep decreasing Lowry's minutes...I believe to avoid injury. And Dragic is looking better and better with increased minutes.

Lowry has been too good for too long to not be in in crunch time. Him being on the bench in the 4th just doesn't feel right. We're trading him.

Well, Morey did try to hit a home run but the trade was disallowed by the NBA office, remember?

And now all those traded players are trying to get out of NOH. If it wasn't such a huge missed opportunity for us, I would be laughing at NOH's woes right now.

He didn't guard him, he got lit up by Beasly. Win some, lose some. Minny just out played the Rockets, end of story.

    Cant amnesty anymore
To get M back, you'd have to him pay his team his contracts worth with the rockets only being able to help with 10 percent of that. Not happening.

The jury is still out on whether Morey can rebuild the Rockets into a championship caliber team with the current strategy they have in place (rebuild without being a bad team). If he's not able to do it, then I would say he did not do a good job.

If you really want to compare what he's done to how Minnesota has run their team, fine. Minnesota hasn't won even half their games in the last 6 years. Is that what you'd like? For us to go through 6 losing seasons for the chance to then have the talent you covet so much? Is that really preferable to you?

Why you putting the blame all on PPat? No one in the league can stop Love. It was the team defense.

McHale rightly or wrongly did not sub Scola in again because in the 3rd, he was airballing shots and missing FTs terribly. Like Kyle as well, no 4th qtr minutes

Yep. I am hoping beyond hope that Gordon signs the qualifying offer and forces them to trade him for peanuts.

Yeah just like the loss to the Bucks where Dunleavy lit us up, if B-Easy is gonna drop 34 on 15 or so shots then the Wolves deserve to win because THAT IS INSANE AND MAKES NO SENSE.

He's been ineffective for most of the season. I am not basing it on this game only. Did you see why he got sent to the bench? Dude was bricking free throws, getting lit up by love, ineffective on defense. I'd rather have PPat play more (or trade for another 4) since he has more defensive potential. When Scola doesn't score, he isn't effective at all.

Last I looked, Scola was playing the 4.... Do you not know when we paly a team with a good 4, they usually do good on us reason because Scola defense?

Parsons and lee both tried guarding Beasley but he was just fire.

:( Lowry was the only reason I gave a damn about this season. If it does happen, we better be upgrading.

Scola gives us a great presence on the glass and is very effective on defense.

Our record will still be better than theirs at the end of the season - you watch. Maybe by next season, they'll have Rick's system figured out. It looks like it tonight because they were playing a lifeless, poorly managed team and shooting well above themselves, but I think this is more the exception than the rule for the TWolves. We'll bounce back and they'll find ways to lose again.

I think you're reading too much into that. He didn't get put back in the game because he wasn't playing well. I knew near the beginning of the period that he probably wouldn't get back into the game, just based on how he finished that 3rd quarter.

To get FTs you need to get fouled which is more than what Pat did but Hill should have been the one taking those minutes anyway.

Love was kept in check. He didn't go off until he was on Pat.

I dont know. I honestly dont know because we are stuck in limbo right now. Waiting 6 years might take less time to build a contender than their current strategy of not sucking and also not being real good.

I agree. The Rockets are a .500 team... that is what they were last year as well... they can finish a few over or under, but nothing more. The 6-8 seeds are a toss up with Memphis hurting without Randolph and coming back to reality, I suspect Utah will be .500% after they settle down, and San Antonio and Dallas are drifting towards mediocre.

Tonight is the type of game you really hope to win. The Wolves are helped by the compressed schedule and have talent, but they are overall beatable... but when you have the players the Rockets have, you will lose games to mediocre teams if you dont go 100%.

This year is fun because if we make the playoffs great, but if we don't, we will probably have 2 lottery picks and cap space.
