You're probably right. It's still so funny though to see Yao calling for the ball and everyone chanting get Yao the ball and he's so wide open. I was rolling on the floor laughing.

This game is so amusing most probably because we're routing the Wolves. Here's some hightlights:
    1. Cat pushed Franchise in the back and he fell to the floor
    2. Yao lost the handle on the ball after KG knock it loose in the low post and somehow the ball drops in
    3. Boki going strong for the dunk and get stuff so bad
    4. Cato shooting that shot off the glass
    :D

I'm very happy about the win, especially against a good team. JVG has the team on the right page, Cat is starting to fit in and SF is trying hard to do it too.

Seriously, when I saw Yao scoring with such ease, I can't help but wonder if he improves his stamina, he can be as dominant as Wilt Chamberlain with his physical gift.

I enjoy reading this BBS alot.. but I get tired of the infighting of YOF's and SOF's (YOB's) or whatever they are called..

This was a great win and im happy.. of course everyone has something to work on but lets not kill the good mood on the board with the sarcasm.

    Great game everyone!

    Hmmm.

I do think there's a problem with a general lack of court awareness. Whenever he's doubled, Mobley has to know someone else is ridiculously open. And while he was being hassled, the defense on him wasn't suffocating.

He probably could and should have found Yao.

However, I really doubt it's exemplary of a bigger problem... in that scenario, at least.

francis and/or mobley made too many "head pointed down" drives in that game, and the resultant missed shots and turnovers were painful. the rox need a pg who keeps his/her head up. so, teach francis to keep his head up. if he can't do it, get a real pg. can jackson do it? i would think so. payton and malone are about his age, and they can go the whole game. maybe, when properly motivated, so can jackson. a real point guard playing on the floor with francis, j.jackson, ? (new player), and yao would make for a hell of a team. i doubt they'd give up a lot more points, though. i don't think the yobs or the yofs or the sofs or the fjvgofs (rich) have much figured out that yao's greatest contribution so far has been his ability to "be in the way" of the other team, on the defensive side. this also is true on the offensive side of the game, which few of y'all seem to have picked up on. did you see the open dunk by cato that was uncontested because two wolves players couldn't get past yao, who began walking towards them to make a 'screen' for cato?

i thought not. review the tape.

IF you want to nitpick, well after Yao got a defesive board, KG knocked the ball out of Yaos hands, he was lucky it wasnt any lighter or else it would have been an easy sports center dunk on Yao. I mean he is the defesive presence, but he looked like he was being anally raped out there. Not judging his game, but more of his facial expressions just make him an easy target to go after.

See it works both ways. You can nitpick all day long, and also blame a loss/bad game on anything all the way down to the ball boy.

I've seen many times Yao would effectively create a wall against the paint defenders that allowed a guard to go layup the ball very easily. Does he have to do this? He could just get out of the way to allow the defender to go hammer the guards on their way up. Mark Jackson will be a team guy too. The slow halfcourt offense that Van Gundy has suits him very well. There won't be run and gun with him on the court.
