We can be darn sure that Hubie will have the griz pressing us all game long on monday. We better deal with this problem or the Grizz will blow us out.

Yup, Doc commented in the early 4th quarter how Yao is so patient cause he's called for the balls so many times this game and was open in the post, but they never passed to him. Then he's like and Yao still has 16 points and 12 boards (at that time). The funniest play though was when Yao was wide open under the basket and no one passed to him and he had to leave the lane or get called for 3 in the key. Anyways, it was a good win by the rockets today, so I don't have too many complaints other than the ones Doc mentioned. Doc is such a great commentator.

Bingo! Hopefully Mark Jackson will be ready to play in that game. Francis is just logging too many minutes. 44 tonight.

Great game by the Rockets. Great effort. Yao really got on the boards and Cato did a lot of the dirty work. Great to see Francis hit those medium range jumpers.

Once again Yao's points are not coming from the traditional low block. They are high post points peppered with some low post play. It works again. That is 3 straight 20/10 games from Yao where he gets confidence in the high post and then moves to the low post. This needs to continue!

Great defensive effort by the Rockets. They TOTALLY closed out the lane and contested every shot taken.

Hubie was the first to diagram the "front Yao Ming" defense.... and his strategy has been copied by Boston and Seattle leading to Rockets losses.

It will be a good test for Yao as ever since that Boston loss, it looks as if he won't let this paltry defense be the thing that stops him.

Of course, he could always revert... but JVG has made it known that his ass will be on the bench if he succumbs to the fronting defense.

Yao will do his best to beat the hell outta the Grizz.

I'm proud of the effort from our players. They hit the Wolves hard in the 3rd quarter and never let them back.Backcourt pressure is something our players will continue to deal with. We don't have natural ball handlers but if we can move the ball around better it will make it easier for us to score.
This should be a morale booster but we can't overlook the Grizzlies.
    GO ROCKETS!

Way to try to save face by your lack of basketball knowledge and its rules. You're still wrong though. Yao got out before 3 secs. Commentators mentioned he got out before then also. I think you're the only person here who thinks it's a bad idea to pass to a wide open Yao under the basket for an easy slam.

Great game by the Rockets. They seem to be finding themselves offensively now. They have established a defensive identity already, once they establish their offensive identity they'll become a threat in the playoffs.

Haha, there was already a post written by Clutch talking about YOFs and he used me as the example. It's not often you get singled out by the great guy who runs this site and I had it as my signature, but it got erased, so I guess Clutch doesn't like to be quoted in sigs.

WOOOO! Man, I love the Rockets!!! That was a lot of fun to watch that game - they dominated so much! We are a totally different team on national TV. It doesn't matter who we play, we beat them. It's a good thing the playoffs are televised nationally. I'm liking the fact that 4 straight 90 point games for the Rockets; we can't be beaten if we play the way we did today. YES, ROCKETS, YES!

I love YAO, and was screaming for him to get the ball. Then I realized that he had been in the paint forever. I didnt see him step out the paint, maybe he did, I was watching the ball being fumbled. If he did get out before 3 secs, I am totally wrong and I stand corrected by all three of you that say so. Thanks for catching my mistake.

Yao positioned himsefl very well tonight. The funniest play was he went up to shoot and got his ball tipped away---a tip-in by Garnett---in Houston's net. :)

Yeah I want to see a reply of that. Was funny. Yao bobbled the ball and it went into the hoop and then he started laughing about it.

Sorry, but you really think Clutch would go to that much trouble just for you?

    Too funny.

I did see his signature like that a few mins ago. And then it disappeared.

Anyway, looks like Doc River is an emerging YOF.
