If we were playing a team with a PG who had the slightest bit of offense we could have been in trouble. Fortunately, we just had Bricky Rubio so there was nothing to worry about in starting Terry at the PG.

    Good win. Good Rockets.

San Antonio will do that... but we can give them a 2 game losing streak

Subpar game, but I'll take the win.

I half-assed watched the game, but box score says MIN just sucked a little worse than us tonight.

Other good news is, ONE of the losses vs DEN is more acceptable since Nuggets beat GSW tonight.

Just finished up the game. Rubio simply isn't an impact player. He's going to be a slightly below average starting PG for his whole career. Wiggins is a nice player but I've noticed he's been getting superstar calls this whole season. NBA trying to build him up I suppose.

The last few games Jones has stopped that stupid muscle flex he did when he scored - and he's been playing MUCH better. (just an observation)

And where is DMO? Yes I know he's injured, but he hasn't been on the bench.

    Dwight was again huge!

Not an outstanding win, but I'll take it.
I'm flying out to the US on Saturday (Aust time) and catching the Rockets back to back in LA. So fingers crossed we can keep the winning going!

I want to believe we turned the page, but we didn't. Wolves are bad and they won 3 out of 4 quarters, despite losing the game.

The Wolves gave the Thunder all they could handle the night before. They are a very young team with a lot of talent. You can't go off of who won how many quarters anyways. SMH

Even the 56 win Rockets last season struggled with the T'Wolves. And that was a much worse Minnesota team that was basically tanking the entire time.

The real test will be the Cavs tomorrow night. If the Rockets show up and play like they did vs the Spurs on X-Mas, they should be able to win that one(especially with Cleveland on a B2B). Then you take care of business against the Lakers and you've got a 7-game winning streak heading into a pivotal matchup with the Clippers.

no the loses against denver are not acceptable at all especially losing a home opener by 20 to them. GS played without Draymond and almost still won (though it took some really really BAD for everyone but Steph Curry type shots to get GS back into it late)

Felt the starters were a bit sluggish tonight despite both teams on the 2nd night of a b2b - it was really the bench that came through and held the fort for the team. The bench has been coming together of late actually they have another test tomorrow against the Cavs but it was good to see that Brewer, MT, Lawson/Terry and Jones playing better of late. While the Rockets do have a good starting 5 it will really be their depth that will lead them to sustained post season success. The bench has not been there for the most part all year.

They are starting to get out more in transition as well finally.
