Ok, I am an avid reader of this board - I read all day long but hardly ever post. I know this is the game thread, but whatever - I never post, so if this is poorly placed - forgive me. The talk of the Rockets being a better team sans McGrady MUST stop. The credibility of this bbs is taking a nosedive because of this inane chatter.

Tracy McGrady is at times a fairly lethargic player that can frustrate die hard fans with his perceived lack of motivation - fair enough. He is however one of the best players in the game and definitely not a selfish player at all. He was jacking up poor shots early in the season because no one in the organization could find the bucket. When he has efficient scorers around him all he will do is make them better while being an amazing asset to a ball club offensively. I think that McGrady is happy to facilitate other scorers while getting his - its not all or nothing. We need to take stock of the fact that we are lucky to have such a talent here in Houston to pair with Yao.

For the record I have watched the Rockets my entire life and love them to an extent that jeapordizes my sanity, relationships, finances etc... I'm in my first year as a season ticket holder and loving it. Section 411 Row 1 :) Lets get behind the team we all love. Lets get behind the players on the team. Lets get behind McGrady when he gets back. Lets act like FANS!

I'm no YOF, TOF or whatever... I cheer for players reppin H-Town.

I want to see more guys like you, you are a real Rockets fan, the team is in your heart. As shipwreck said, you couldn't have said it better, this is exactly what I have been trying to say, I hope many will realize that you are right and that they completely over-reacted in the last weeks.

    GO ROX

    He won't play.

His medical check had been pushed back to Saturday.

The doctors advice is that he needs at least one full team practice to see the effect on his knees, before they decide.

And there won't be time for the Rockets until Monday for a full team practice.

But TMAC shown up in Friday's shootout practice anyway.....

This is a trap game if I ever saw one. The Rockets better come out with focus and intensity or they could lose this one and break their winning streak. Come out and thump them early in the first half and get a W.

    GO ROCKETS!

Well, let's make it 42....his career high point scored per game !! :D

To be frank, I don't think Big Yao cares about his own stats. All he wants is to find ways to win; whether he is or his team mates are the highest scorer of the game does not really matter to him.

Thanks for the pics. Nice to see the team having fun. Lots of smiles and goofing off in the photos. Any word on the status of Francis' health?

Last time I read from Houston Chronicle (as of January 8), Steve Francis said it will be another 7 ~ 10 days time that he will return to train and play.

He said he craves to be back with the team and contribute in any way he can.
