Hayes does the dirty work. He got 13 boards against the Knicks.

Because Landry can have his minutes, contract year, I would take a good draft pick for him. :D

Looks like Mike "Jack it Up" James is the cancer of this team. I noticed how he would try to set himself up for a 20 foot jumper off a pick instead of swinging the ball like he was the go 2 man.

Usually when were blowing teams out like this I tendo to change channels and watch something else but this time it was completely different. The way the offense is flowing and the way the players just carry themselves on the court and play the game the way it should be played just brought a smile to my face. Seeing Landry out there just showcasing his talent was a good treat to us fans who haven't seen much of him. Hopefully we can keep the streak going against NO because God knows we always seem to struggle against them.

    landry
    brooks
    scola

    to go with:

    yao
    tmac
    bonzi
    battier
    head
    alston
    hayes

    dont forget:

    mutombo
    novak
    snyder

    and then you have:
    james

    and.... umm..... well:
    francis

this team is D-E-E-P. i never thought we'd struggle as mightily as we did, but from the get-go i said it wouldn't surprise me if it took us 1/3-1/2 of the season to actually find our rhythm.... now i just pray to the lord almighty that tmac comes back ready and willing to adjust to the offensive flow this team has found.

As long as Adelman is our coach, and Bonzi plays at least subpar (having 7-10 FG nights, 10 + rebounds (darn near all offensive) Bonzi will not be traded. I like the way he has been playing lately (minus a few bad shots).

Great win for Rox to allow starters to rest. I really did not have that much of an opinion of C.Landry before this game, but I love him, now. What is up with McGrady being out another week? This is probably going to be one of those situations where the injured player does not come back until the team loses a game (fine by me, lol).

VIVA La New Orleans!!! If it is a home game, which I could easily check, then that phrase makes very little sense, but I still want to say it!!

Clyde Drexler certainly thinks that McGrady realizes that he needs to come in and adjust, not revert to the old way.

He needs to make some shots or something to shake off whatever he has going on. Say what you want about selfish or not a real point, etc. ... but he's never been this inefficient of a scorer.

Bill Worrell and Clyde Drexler said tonight that they thought James would have a bigger role with the team by season's end. I don't see how. Rafer started out ice cold, but he's playing his best ball right now. Luther is playing well and Brooks looks like a guy who has established that he's ready for time. Perhaps they decide to give less time to Brooks, or maybe Luther goes cold, but they simply have too many guards who need playing time.

They knew that problem going in though. A trade has to come at some point, and James looks like the odd man out right now. Of course if they get an offer they can't refuse that includes an asset like Brooks or Head, that may change things... but I don't think that will happen.

I kind of would have liked to see Mutombo a little. Just to keep him loose. What a professional (go figure, after 15 plus years) to be able to stay in good shape while playing a game almost once every 10 games or so. I love him.

I dunno, with the salary that James has and the way he's been playing makes him pretty darn useless as a trade chip.

I agree wholeheartedly. The thing that I really did not like was the way he looked (body language) out on the court. I really like MJ, too. Scola wanted to give MJ a high five after Scola scored, and MJ almost ignored him (did he indeed give him the high five? I don't remember). I agree. He just needs to make some shots. I feel for him, though. Being played behind a rookie can not feel so great. His fault, though.

I like Mike James when he gets going. He still can be an important player for us if he can shake things off. Head failed in the playoffs last year and our outside shooting is weak. I just hope he will try to relax and not just rely on his shots if they aren't going down.If he can come around we will be in better shape.
