Giving more time to Scola and Landry, Rocket's will have a great rotation of power forwards.

Scola and Hayes obviously can dunk but not like Landry, that kid can jump!

Keep it up.Don't step off the gas. The Rockets need to learn how to crush an opponent.

"After Burner" is fine, but the "Big Manu" has got to go.

Clyde said Mike James is contributing as they show him air balling a layup attempt.

    Nice.

Didn't it say somewhere that Landry had a 41 inch vertical leap? By the way, he regularly hit those 18-20ft jump shots at Purdue.

Maybe a little more Luther Head. :D

Clyde, you should've stayed in Minnesota.

Still cannot digest that we lost to Heats early this season.

I don't know about 41, if I remember correctly it was 38 or 39 his junior year.

James has 3 assists so I can't hate on him. He is 1 for 6 on FGs though...

I hope we will see the 3 rookies on the floor, that made a difference in the 1st half. We'll most probably get to see Novak too.

And the Wolves, man I rarely see a team playing that bad...

41 inch vertical for a 6,9 guy? I highly doubt it. He's not THAT athetlic.

I thought Clyde was gonna say....

"and maybe a little more Steve Novak"

He just couldn't remember his name and ended up with Luther Head.

    LOL!

The Hornets' starting PG and backup PG are a combined 15/15 from the field and 8/8 on 3s.

i haven't seen much of his play, just read from newspapers and forums that he's really good at playing ball. however, he still needs some time to prove himself. he's a rookie with some future, that's it.

Don't forget, Landry was rated fifth best athlete in this really deep draft.

You're right..not for a 6'9" guy. I looked it up. here are his stats

Carl Landry 6’8.5’’ 248 Purdue PF Once considered a late second round to undrafted prospect, Landry now sits in the middle of the second round. He weighed in about 15 lbs heavier than he was listed at Purdue, but proved the added weight was muscle, as he turned in 21 bench reps and registered just 7.5% body fat. He also showed solid athleticism by jumping 36.5’’ and running a 3.29 sprint. Landry has a good post game a body that is ready to compete with NBA forwards. He could end up being a second round steal similar to Carlos Boozer in 2002.
