With Jalen, with KPJ... hell even with Sengun.

Those 3 are going to draw so much attention away from Jabari it should lead to a ton of open spots and knocking down open shots is what Jabari does best on offense.

JC has very low bball IQ. I noticed last season and gave him a pass. It looks like this is who he is.

I will be very disappointed if Stone hit on Green& Sengun and missed on JC & Garuba from last year draft.

Hope he will come good but JC has been very bad in this summer league

Jalen Green was also laying a bunch of bricks for a good part of the season so I’m not too worried about Jabari, he’ll be playing with the starters should take some pressure of him and settle into his role 3 and D everything else should come with time

technically that was the consensus view after five quarters of summer league basketball.

JC is someone that trains like Jasean Tate, just a ton of pick up games without focusing on his weakness.

    Impressions of the first half:

Jabari is pressing again but that’s just natural. I see a super talented long guy with a lot of potential. Once he settles down he’s gonna be an incredible shooter. But what really stuck out is his defense. Already a very good defender. With better drawn up plays (better coaching) and better guard play Jabari is gonna be a huge weapon. I really like what I see. Defense and rebounding, but u know u are gonna get the shooting eventually. Why is anyone concerned?

eason continues to lol like he can be Kwahi. He literally swallows up rebounds with his 7’3” arms. He’s a moden nba 4/3. I hope he can become a consistent 3pt shooter but I love the confidence. This guy has a chance to be a special player. I don’t care about the occasional bad decision….he’s a rookie. Can defend anyone!

TyTy needs to get his shot going. Uneven performance but the instincts are there. Definitely expect a better 2nd half.

Nix played better; showed us some flashes; defiantly better passing and shooting than last game. Has some talent but still underwhelming.

Holman again stood out to me. Not sold on his shooting but love his confidence, length, defense, and rim protection

christopher showing how versatile he is and why he needs more minutes this year. Love the pass first mentality in game-2

Let's see if OKC makes an effort to get the ball to Chet in the 2nd half and see how the Rockets do... I want Jabari to hit a few jumbers in the second half because I'm selfish.

Yeah, Jabari forgot how to shoot like Ryan Anderson. And he hasn’t even stepped foot in Toyota Center (depth perception) yet. [IMG]

Like I said earlier he was obviously pressing coming into this game. Lets see if he settles down and into it 2nd half

KMJ still will have minutes available if the Rockets don’t add a big and Garuba keeps finding a way not to get on the floor.

Extremely smart. In high school, he was 41% on 3's and 64 % on 2's. His 3 shot will come around.

Jabari is probably more of a catch and shoot player than a player that can create his own offense. That's fine. His shooting will get better.

Jabari and Tari on the floor together will help each other big on D. It looks like they've been switching on Chet and that has worked well.

    Tyty, me likey.

I know Smith missed shots, but he impacted the game in a positive way... those shots will go in eventually as well. No doubt.

Jabari will eventually hit his shots. His awareness is legit. This guy is going to look great with the rest of the starters.
