RoCo just recently became 2nd best player.

Green was 2nd best player in first 3 games.

Rockets stopped playing PnR with Green in Game 6.

 

Roco was the Rockets third best player the second they traded for him. And second best player the second Russ went down. Even in the bubble when he was bricking he was their second best player by any advanced metrics due to defensive impact. And now that he is shooting lights out in the playoffs its not even close. We are talking about over the course of their entire careers, not just a few games. Management understands this, look at what they gave up for him. Does D'antoni?

 

Your argument is nonsensical. Based on your rationale you should be arguing for Russ to play more minutes in Games 5 & 6.

Russ based on talent and past performance is CLEARLY the 2nd best player on the Rockets.

This not debatable.

However, Russ was not playing well as he is obviously still rusty these last 2 games.

Russ should NOT have had the ball in crunch time based on RECENT performance. Russ mid range, FT shooting and passing was so obviously off AND he was struggling even to finish at the rim.

Rockets Game 6 loss was on coaching, MDA should have gone back to old reliable to finish this game 1-5 or 5-1 PnR with Harden-Green. At the very least, Harden should have demanded ball and Iso'ed.

Russ if he had to be in the game should have been a decoy only, that was how bad he was.

wow, that's incredible. I would say this team drives to the basket a lot more than normal teams do. okc players must be amazing defensive players. You kno what I want to kno? How many times has cp3 been called for a foul? They literally nvr blow the whistle on that guy...

Wow. This is why no one should be bashing this team for having a game 7. It isnt easy to beat a good team and the refs.

Rockets can't even get ABC for game 7.

 

don’t think I’m gonna watch this one...will record it, and check the boxscore at 11...if the Rockets win, I’ll watch the recording...if they lose, I’m deleting it immediately and putting all Rockets paraphernalia in storage

I could barely handle the stupidity shown in game 4, but the Rockets managed to outdo themselves in game 6

I’m currently not capable of watching 30+ minutes of Eric Gordon play basketball

a series they could’ve swept and should’ve finished in 5, is now going 7, and u can’t trust this team because they’re stupid as hell and are brick laying champions

of course these fools would have 22 turnovers in game 6 as they lose by 4

How many times can a team give a game away and beat themselves in 1 series?

Maybe it is scripted? If it's about money there's at a what 90 percent drop off in revenue so why does it matter? So why not take away the narrative and let these guys ball?

What’s gonna happen?

Honestly, I won’t call out our stars’ mentality, but unless they go ham we’re kinda screwed. Game 7 is a lot of pressure and we don’t have mentally strong players surrounding Harden and Russ. RoCo does not have much playoff runs, Ben will obviously shrink, PJ has one move, House will likely disappoint. I don’t want to put a Game 7 on Jeff Green. Our best chance of winning is if EG has a BIG game. A game we’d see from the past few years where he’s hitting the outside shot and being aggressive to the rim. And he has not given me any reason to believe he would find his shot tomorrow.
